Abstract: The invention includes a single-piece clip for securing an article(s) to a panel having a hole formed therein. The clip includes a tape bar having a slot formed in the bar and at least one portion of the bar for securing to the article such as a wire harness by taping or other suitable means. The clip also includes a stem extending through the slot and having an insertion head at one end for inserting through the hole in a panel and engaging the rear face of the panel. A first set of wings extend outwardly from the stem at a location below the insertion head and above a top surface of the tape bar. A second set of wings extend outwardly from the stem at one end of the stem and below a bottom face of the tape bar. Both sets of wings have a breadth sufficient to prevent the wings from being pulled or pushed through the slot formed in the tape bar.

Abstract: Disclosed is a top mounted interior door closer utilizing as a drive mechanism a yieldable actuator which is exercised during the opening and retraction which is desirably mounted in an encasement having a closing rod extending from one end. The closing rod is secured to a pair of flanking members along a vertical axis, which members, in turn, are positioned for movement in a track. The closer is sandwiched in place interiorly by having elongate slot at the top of the door means of a cover plate. The elongate slot passes a closing link pin pivotally secured to the shaft or bushing joining the rollers or blocks.

Abstract: An electrical terminal clamping assembly of the character that will simultaneously accommodate and securely grip one or more conductor wires of substantially different diameters. The assembly includes a threaded terminal screw and a uniquely configured generally circular shaped clamping plate or tilt washer which is adapted to freely tilt relative to the undersurface of the head of the terminal screw in a manner to move gripping projections provided on the undersurface of the washer into secure clamping engagement with a wire of large diameter disposed on one side of the axial center line of the terminal screw and into secure clamping engagement with a wire of much smaller diameter disposed on the opposite side of the axial center line.

Abstract: A merchandise display hook is provided with an adaptor for adjusting the at-rest, supported viewing angle of a pivoting label holder. The adaptor mounts to the end of the label support arm and contacts the back panel of the labelholder to alter the at-rest viewing angle. In one embodiment, the adaptor has a slidable gripping portion for slidable mounting on the label support arm and an abutment section for contacting the back panel of the label holder. In another embodiment, the adaptor mounts on the cross bar of the label holder arm and has an alternate cross bar for pivotal support of the label holder. The adaptor is configured to alter the at-rest viewing angle of the label holder.

Abstract: A visual memorial system for a long term display of an archival print. A pigment-based print generated from a photograph is matted and placed within a resilient frame which is covered with tempered glass opaque to ultraviolet light. The frame is placed within a stainless steel casing which is attached to a gravestone by anchor bolts. The frame is preferably provided on its interior with a desiccant to remove any remaining moisture from the interior of the frame. The archival nature of the pigment-based print along with the sealing techniques used in the frame, produce a resulting memorial system capable of maintaining its clarity for over a century.

Abstract: A self-contained, built-in and reversible greeting, letter and/or photograph frame with cover, all suitable for mailing as an all-in-one unit, thereby eliminating the need for a separate envelope. In addition, when the unit is reversed upon itself and fastened, the unit becomes a stand exhibiting its content without the need of any additional elements.

Abstract: A picture display assembly has a hollow base seat, a main frame coupling with the hollow base seat, a transparent plate covering a front face of the main frame, a rear plate covering a rear face of the main frame, a separation plate disposed in a front interior of the main frame, a display chamber defined between the transparent plate and the separation plate, an elastic plate disposed in a rear interior of the main frame, a storage chamber defined between the separation plate and the elastic plate, an upper plate disposed in an upper interior of the main frame, a slit defined between the separation plate and the upper plate, a switch plate disposed on an upper end of the upper plate, a swivel button disposed on an end of the switch plate, a rolling device disposed in a top interior of the main frame, and a roller set disposed in a middle interior of the main frame.

Abstract: A mailbox system (10) for the delivery and retrieval of mail, is described. The mailbox system has a rack ladder system (12) within which is mounted mailboxes and parcel lockers (30). The back of the mailbox system is closed by back doors (46 and 48). The doors are mounted by hinges (50) to the rear face plates (42) of the rack ladder system. The doors have a locking system (52) which prevents the doors from being opened from the inside of the boxes or lockers and allows quick and easy access to all the boxes or lockers at the same time. The locking system has a top and bottom lock rod (54 and 56) and a handle assembly (60). When the handle (66) of the handle assembly is rotated, the rods move into and out of top and bottom lock brackets (78 and 80) to allow for locking and unlocking the doors.

Abstract: A preferably cast zinc housing has a chamber for receiving a metal stranded cable 1/16 inch in diameter which is swaged at one end to the housing in the chamber. The housing has a conical bore in communication with the ambient about the housing via apertures at opposing ends of the housing. A channel having a depth of about one half the cable diameter is in the bore surface aligned with the apertures to form a continuous cable insertion path with the apertures. A relatively weak coil spring and a pair of different diameter steel balls are in the conical bore. The cable free end is inserted into the path through the housing with minimal insertion resistance from the balls and spring. Withdrawal of the cable wedges the balls uniformly against the cable deforming it and locking the cable to the housing. The balls each uniformly stress the cable to spread the stress of the wedging action. This reduces stress concentration on the cable at each ball so that the cable fails only at its maximum tensile load.

Abstract: A combination of a mail box and visual indicator is disclosed. The combination includes a mailbox having front and rear ends and an elongated resilient member having first and second ends. The elongated member is mounted at its first end to the rear end of the mailbox and has a tip protector mounted at its second end. When the door to the mailbox is open, the elongated member swings from an engaged to an extended position so as to indicate the door has been opened and the mail has arrived. The tip protector prevents injury to persons in the vicinity of the box while the elongated member is in motion.

Abstract: We achieved extended fatigue endurance and high pre-load in a structural blind fastener by combining the best features of screw type and pull type blind fasteners. We replaced fatigue critical details from the shear plane with close tolerance, slip fit, core bolt and outer bolt shanks to obtain the desired structural load paths while retaining anchoring features of screw type fasteners to introduce adequate pre-load. Our fasteners are compatible with currently available blind bolt insertion tooling. The present invention pertains to a lightweight version of the structural blind fastener wherein we set the backside anchor collar with matching threads that engage between the outer sleeve bolt and inner core bolt.

Abstract: A connection device for use with a cable includes a link member to permit connection to another article and a housing formed in the link member having a passage therethrough including an annular cavity of larger diameter than the passage. There is a shaft member fixedly mountable to a cable and insertable into the housing passage. The shaft member is formed with an external annular groove. A clip member is mountable in the external annular groove. The connection device is assembled by insertion of the shaft member through the housing passage in a first longitudinal direction to expose the annular groove. The clip member is mounted in the exposed annular groove of the shaft member and the shaft member is retracted into the housing passage in the opposite longitudinal direction to pivotally and releasably connect the link member and the shaft member by virtue of the clip member rotatably engaging in the annular cavity of the housing passage.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a robot arm assembly including a plurality of elongated elements for attachment with a tool carried by the robot arm assembly. The robot arm assembly includes a robot arm, an arm clamp assembly clamped around the robot arm, and at least one elongated element clamp. The elongated element clamp is connected to a mounting pad on the arm clamp and carries the elongated elements.

Abstract: A poster display device for holding and displaying posters and advertising materials, particular in outdoor environments. A plurality of frame sections are positioned around the periphery of a backing member. The frame sections have rotating cover members which are biased by resilient members to be held in open and closed positions. A transparent protective sheet member is used to cover and protect the poster and advertising materials, and a sealing member is utilized to seal around the edges of the protective sheet member and prevent moisture and other environmental elements from coming into contact with the advertising materials and posters. The sealing members are positioned in slots, recesses, or channels in the frame sections and the force of the resilient members on the cover members holds the protective sheet materials tightly in place against the sealing members.

Abstract: A baby supplies case and bag/bassinet combination with an openable front flap. Unzipping the flap reveals a shelved case holding diapers and baby supplies. Attached to the lowest shelf by a hinge is a hollow wedge shaped baby wipes container of sufficient length to extend to a cutout in the above shelf where the wide end of the wedge-shaped container rests. The wide end has raised ridges at either end thereof which retain a protective lid in position. In the middle of the wide end is an oval opening which provides access to baby wipes. When this wedge shaped container is rotated downward and the protective lid is slid open, a baby wipe can be retrieved. Due to the wedge shape of the container, it will not impede the removal of objects from the shelf behind. Resting on the middle shelf of the case is a holder for a container of baby powder. When this holder is rotated downwardly, it hangs from supports attached to the shelf on which it was resting.

Abstract: The method and device are for identifying and tracking garment and accessories in order to avoid repeating in wearing of the same garment and accessories to the same social function or occasion in its next occurrence. Distinctive identification devices are attachable to the garment and/or accessories after each function and the occasion is recorded either on such identification devices or in an associated recording device such that it can be ascertained that in the next occurrence of the same social function the same garment and accessories would not be worn again.

Abstract: A clamping apparatus adaptable to connect together multiple members which may be variously arranged. The clamping apparatus includes a clamping plate having a first pair and a second pair of arcuate slots. Fasteners extend in a first direction through the first pair of arcuate slots and in a second direction through the second pair of arcuate slots, and the fasteners are slidable along the length of the slots. Clamping links are attachable to the fasteners to secure the multiple members to the clamping plate.

Abstract: A motion controlled cradle including a rocking assembly adapted to rock the cradle upon the receipt of an activation signal. Further provided is an motion sensor adapted to transmit a motion signal upon the detection of motion of the small child within the cradle. Next provided is a mechanism for transmitting an activation signal to the rocking assembly upon the receipt of the motion signal. Finally, a tape player is connected to the means. The tape player is adapted to play a tape upon the receipt of the activation signal.

Abstract: A waste disposal apparatus is built-in to a wall of a building so as to enable waste, which may be sorted into recyclable and non-recyclable waste within the building, to be dispensed into garbage bins (69) or the like located at the outside of the building. The apparatus includes a plurality of modular chutes (74, 75) for transfer of waste to the bin (69) and wall fascia (45, 46, 47). There is an inlet port for each chute which is substantially co-planar with the wall (52) and a pivotable door (47) for each chute, whereby each pivotable door (47) controls entry of waste through its respective inlet port.

Abstract: A windshield wiper blade assembly system includes a windshield wiper blade assembly and an adapter. The assembly includes a connector configured to be connected to a first type of windshield wiper arm, such as a hookslot wiper arm having a smaller hook. The assembly also includes a blade carrier attached to the connector, and a wiper blade attached to the blade carrier. The adapter is configured to be attached to the connector to permit connection of the windshield wiper blade assembly to a second type of windshield wiper arm, such as a hookslot wiper arm having a larger hook, without detaching the carrier from the connector. The connector may be configured for attachment to pin-type wiper arms as well as hookslot wiper arms. The adapter may be configured for attachment to straight wiper arms.
