Abstract: A dispensing device is disclosed having a cylinder, a piston disposed in the cylinder and moveable in priming and dispensing directions, including a spring device biasing the piston to move in the priming direction at a predetermined rate, and an operating plunger connectable to the piston and moveable along a path to move the piston in the dispensing direction. The operating plunger has an engagement device and is moveable between an engaged position in which the engagement device is connected to the piston and movement of the plunger along the path is transmitted to the piston, and a disengaged position in which the engagement device is disconnected from the piston and movement of the plunger along the path is independent of the piston. The engagement device is arranged such that movement of the plunger between the engaged and disengaged positions is of a different kind to movement along the path.

An applicator may be coupled to the first portion opposite a connection of the first portion to the second portion. The cosmetic implement may be movable between a stored state and an extended state. The first portion may be at least partially enclosed in a receptacle of the second portion when the cosmetic implement is in the stored state. The cosmetic implement may include a locking mechanism to retain the implement in the stored state. The locking mechanism may be actuated by squeezing first and second sides of the second portion towards each other.

Abstract: A grease gun with a quick-release end cover includes a barrel, and an operating end cover and a piston end cover disposed at two ends of the barrel. Between the operating end cover and the barrel is disposed a quick-release device which includes: an annular groove formed around the barrel; a first hole formed in the operating end cover and includes an outer open end and an inner open end. Inside the first hole is formed an annular shoulder portion, in the outer open end of the first hole is formed a slot. A control member has a shaft inserted into the first hole, the shaft includes an abutting and an operating portion formed at two ends thereof, and a positioning pin. A compression spring is sleeved onto the shaft and pressed between the annular shoulder portion of the first hole, and the annular abutting portion of the abutting block.

Abstract: An example embodiment of an apparatus includes a housing with an opening at a first end and a plurality of holes at a second end, a plurality of hollow tubes attached to the plurality of holes, a plurality of containers removably attached to the hollow tubes, and a plurality of elastic fasteners, each elastic fastener clamping each container to a corresponding hollow tube, such that when the containers are filled with fluid and detached from the corresponding hollow tubes, each elastic fastener seals each container with the fluid inside.

The controller is configured to cause a state of the inactive gas feed section associated with the storage section to be both a storage feed state and an unfeeding state depending on if the carrier is stored or not stored be. The controller is also configured to store the transporting container in the storage section after changing the state of the inactive gas feed section associated with the storage section in which the container is to be stored to a pre-storage feed state from the unfeeding state.

Abstract: A glass-fiber reinforced plastic pipe comprises a pipe body and an inner core fixedly provided on an inner wall of the pipe body, wherein an upper end of the inner core is lower than an upper end of the pipe body, so that a first heat-insulating space is formed between the upper ends of the inner core and the pipe body, and a lower end of the inner core is higher than a lower end of the pipe body, so that a second heat-insulating space is formed between the lower ends of the inner core and the pipe body. Due to the inner core as a reinforce structure, the shear resistance strength of the glass-fiber reinforced plastic pipe is improved without increasing the thickness of the pipe wall, and furthermore the mechanical performance of a supporting device of the cryogenic pressure vessel is improved.

Abstract: An adjustable material-conveying duct and a flow area adjustment device are described. The duct may include two wall sections, the second wall section having two mounting connections, oriented at an angle with respect to one another. When the second wall section is mounted to the first wall section via a first mounting connection, the wall sections form a first angle in a flow channel of the duct. When the second wall section is mounted to the first wall section via a second mounting connection, the wall sections form a second, different angle in the flow channel. A flow sensor, controller and automatic adjustment device may also be utilized to control the orientation of the wall sections.

Abstract: An installation structure of countertop faucet includes a base having an insertion section extending through a mounting hole formed in a counter to engage a locking nut to be secured. The insertion section has a top end forming a receiving bore of which a circumferential wall forming two positioning holes communicating with the receiving bore. Each positioning hole receives therein a releasing module. The bottom of the base forms two water inlet passages communicating with the receiving bore and receiving stop valves therein and coupled to couplers for connection with water inlet tubes. A faucet has a joint section received in the receiving bore and having water guide tubes fit into the water inlet passages. The joint section forms two receiving apertures receiving therein positioning modules respectively engageable with the positioning holes to fix the faucet and being released by the releasing module to detach the faucet from the base.

Abstract: A soap holding device for holding a bar of soap. A water permeable sheet of material is provided that has a periphery defined by a first edge, a second edge, and two side edges. The sheet of material is folded to have overlapping sections so that the sheet of material proximate the first edge overlaps the sheet of material proximate the second edge. The side edges are sealed closed to define an internal pocket within the soap holder that is only accessible through an open slot. The open slot extends between the overlapping sections from the first edge and the second edge. A bar of soap can be inserted into the internal pocket by sliding the bar of soap between the overlapping sections. Once the bar of soap is inside the internal pocket, it becomes trapped.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate generally to stackable systems for use on countertops, as travel systems, or anywhere the items contained therein are desired for use. The stackable systems may be used to contain body lotions, crèmes, powders, perfumes, soaps, washes, gels, body scrubs (such as salt or sugar grain-based scrubs), shampoo/conditioner or any other substance to be dispensed. The systems may also feature one or more dispenser features at the front, top, or bottom of a unit in the stackable system. Embodiments also relate to dispenser systems for use in connection with shower curtains or other surfaces.

Abstract: A system and apparatus for preparing bulk quantities of dry colorant or pigment for blending with mortar are described. The system mixes the three primary pigments of black, red and yellow to prepare a batch of the dry colorant having a particular color. The pigments or dry colorant are generally a powder of metal oxide crystals. The system includes pigment dispensers, wherein each pigment dispenser includes a tote that is in flowing communication with a slider valve. The slider valve is in flowing communication with a transition piece, and the transition piece is in flowing communication with a vibratory tray having an exit opening. A receptacle receives pigments from the exit opening of the vibratory trays. A control unit serially operates the vibratory trays to dispense the pigment from each tote. A scale measures the weight of the pigments in the receptacle.

The medication dispensing station includes a support base and a cradle pivotally attached to the support base in an elevated position relative to the support base. A medication dispenser may be releasably attachable to the cradle. Therefore, a patient may easily attach the medication dispenser to the cradle, and pivot the cradle to dispense the medication.

Abstract: An adhesive dispensing system is configured to automatically reduce the temperature of adhesive material to reduce degradation of the adhesive caused by holding the adhesive at an application temperature during periods of low throughput. To this end, a controller of the system operates a heater unit to maintain a unit set point temperature to heat and melt adhesive until a set threshold time has elapsed since the most recent supply of adhesive to the system by a fill system. Once the time elapsed since the most recent supply of adhesive exceeds the set threshold time, the heater unit is reduced in temperature to reduce the temperature of adhesive. This reduction is temperature is large enough to minimize degradation and outgassing but small enough to enable rapid warm-up times after a new supply of adhesive occurs.

Abstract: A dispenser provides measured doses of at least two components using a common pump. Each of the components is stored in its own separate container; each of which is connected to the common piston pump through an inlet valve. A metering device is disposed between the inlet valves and the pump chambers. The metering device is rotatable around an axis and controls the volume of each component disposed by either changing to flow rate of the component through its inlet valve or by changing the stroke length of the piston associated with its inlet valve.
