  • Patent number: 11574186
Abstract: Computer systems, methods and program products for automating pseudonymization of personal identifying information (PII) using machine learning, metadata, and crowdsourcing patterns to identify and replace PII. Machine learning models are trained for classifying known column names or key names for processing, using metadata. Column or key names are classified to be unprocessed, anonymized or pseudonymized by a pseudonymizer without revealing PII or scrubbing data into a useless format. A library of crowdsourced patterns are utilized for matching PII to data values within column or key names and PII is mapped to replacement methods. Feedback from user annotations retrains the algorithms to improve classification accuracy and Deep Learning algorithms automate the identification of PII using regular expression generation to concisely articulate how pseudonymizers search for PII patterns within a data set.

  • Patent number: 11576027
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems and methods for providing an emergency alert notification. An electronic communication device can receive, from an alert generation device, a low power advertising packet responsive to an action performed on the alert generation device. Before the action is performed, the alert generation device can be in a low power state, such as a sleep state, to conserve battery. The action can cause the alert generation device to transition from the low power state to a second state in which the alert generation device begins transmitting the advertising packet. The electronic communication device can identify at least one emergency contact to receive an alert based on a contact policy and can determine an alert type based on the contact policy. The electronic communication device can generate the alert including a request for assistance and can transmit the alert to the at least one emergency contact.

  • Patent number: 11570825
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for priority access on a shared wireless channel. A priority station (STA), an access point (AP), or a network operator may activate a priority access service. The priority access service provides priority access to authorize priority STAs by allowing them to use more aggressive contention parameters for contention-based access of the wireless channel as compared to other STAs. In some implementations, non-priority STAs may be configured with weakened contention parameters to increase or ensure the likelihood that a priority STA will win contention for access to the wireless channel.

  • Patent number: 11562497
Abstract: Implementations are described herein for analyzing a sequence of digital images captured by a mobile vision sensor (e.g., integral with a robot), in conjunction with information (e.g., ground truth) known about movement of the vision sensor, to determine spatial dimensions of object(s) and/or an area captured in a field of view of the mobile vision sensor. Techniques avoid the use of visual indicia of known dimensions and/or other conventional tools for determining spatial dimensions, such as checkerboards. Instead, techniques described herein allow spatial dimensions to be determined using less resources, and are more scalable than conventional techniques.

  • Patent number: 11537817
Abstract: A semi-supervised model incorporates deep feature learning and pseudo label estimation into a unified framework. The deep feature learning can include multiple convolutional neural networks (CNNs). The CNNs can be trained on available training datasets, tuned using a small amount of labeled training samples, and stored as the original models. Features are then extracted for unlabeled training samples by utilizing the original models. Multi-view clustering is used to cluster features to generate pseudo labels. Then the original models are tuned by using an updated training set that includes labeled training samples and unlabeled training samples with pseudo labels. Iterations of multi-view clustering and tuning using an updated training set can continue until the updated training set is stable.

  • Patent number: 11540127
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments may use a contactless card as a secondary form of authentication in a multi-factor authentication for a secure messaging service. The recipient party of a request to initiate a messaging service session (such as a server computing device) may be programmed to use the phone number of the originating device to look up records regarding an identity of a party and their associated phone number as a primary credential and then may require an authentication credential originating from the contactless card as a secondary credential for the initiating party. In some instances, the credential originating from the contactless card is a onetime password that is valid only for a period of time. The recipient party determines whether the onetime password is valid. If both credentials are valid, a secure messaging session may be initiated with the initiating party.

  • Patent number: 11526733
Abstract: Systems, architectures, and approaches for use with neural networks. An execution block and a system architecture using a novel execution block are disclosed along with how such an execution block can be used. The execution block uses a fully connected stack of layers and parameters of this fully connected stack of layers are shared. The fully connected nature of the block and on-the-fly generated parameters allow for bypassing specialized training data sets. The system may be trained using non-task-specific training data sets and this allows the system to transfer what is learned to execute a different task. Thus, instead of having to obtain a specialized training data set for a specific task, a more generic training data set can be used to train and prepare the system for that specific task. Results have shown that performance is as good as than the state of the art in providing solutions.
