Abstract: Disclosed herein are panelized wall systems and methods for their construction, wherein the wall systems have elastomeric joints that are resistant to cracking. The walls are constructed with adhesive-edge building panels. The adhesive-edge building panels are preferably fiber cement. The front surface of each panel has an adhesive preapplied to an edge of the panel. Panels are fastened to a frame with the adhesive-edges adjacent to each other. A joint tape is applied to the seam between the panels such that the edges of the joint tape adhere to the adhesive-edges of the adjacent panels. The wall is then finished with an elastomeric finish.

Abstract: A mounting assembly for pivotally mounting a workpiece holder to a support structure includes a mounting member having an opening at least partially therethrough and a swivel member. The swivel member has a generally cylindrical passageway therethrough for at least partially receiving a support structure. The swivel member defines a truncated, generally spherical shaped swivel member having a curved outer surface for engaging an inner surface of the opening of the mounting member. The swivel member includes a reduced diameter or chamfered portion at the outer surface to facilitate insertion of the swivel member into the opening of the mounting member, whereby the swivel member is substantially retained within the opening after insertion therein. The mounting member may be a mounting bracket for adjustably mounting to a workpiece holder or may be a mounting block which is attachable to a workpiece holder.

Abstract: A seat slide device which includes a lower rail fixed to a vehicle floor, an upper rail fitted into the lower rail to be slidable relative to the lower rail for supporting a seat, a lock device for fixing the upper rail at an arbitrary position of the lower rail, a lock lever provided in the lock device and rotatably supported on the upper rail, a lock bore formed on the lower rail, a pawl provided on the lock lever for being able to be inserted into the lock bore, and an energy absorbing bore provided on the lower rail and arranged in series with the lock bore and separated from the lock bore by a predetermined distance.

Abstract: A support structure includes a support stand operable with a supported article. The support stand has a pair of side pieces. Each side piece includes a main beam, wherein a length of the main beam is optionally adjustable, and an angle beam joined to the main beam at an outward joining angle of from about 20 to about 60 degrees thereto. The main beams of the two side pieces are spaced apart and are parallel to each other. The support stand further includes two or more cross beams. The cross beams are spaced apart from each other and are each affixed to the two side pieces to form a top frame. A support base extends downwardly from the top frame and includes a pair of leading columns, wherein one of the leading columns is affixed to each of the main beams, and a pair of trailing columns, wherein one of the trailing columns is affixed to each of the angle beams. Desirably, a length of each of the leading columns and a length of each of the trailing columns is adjustable.

Abstract: A mounting bracket for holding a cylindrical tank member such as an air tank or other emergency tank particularly used by emergency personnel wherein the tank is easily detachable from the bracket and easily attachable thereto. The mechanism includes a backing plate member mounted to the wall with an upper and lower clamping member extending outwardly therefrom for holding the tank in a tank storage zone spatially disposed from the backing plate member. A restraining device such as a strap is included for holding the tank in the tank storage zone and an ejection device is positioned between the backing plate member and the tank storage zone for ejecting the tank if the restraining mechanism is not properly secured. The restraining means can be operated with one hand while the user's other hand holds the tank in the storage zone.

Abstract: A rod is gripped by a clamp which is removably seated in a lateral recess in a hand-held rod holder. The clamp is tightened around the rod by turning a threaded actuator. The holder configuration is easily changed from right-handed to left-handed by removing the rod and reversing the clamp in its recess. The body of the holder has a fixed jaw, and a separate movable jaw is provided so one can secure the body to a fixture such as a hospital bed. When a pair of the rod holders are mounted at opposite ends of a common rod, they can be adjusted along the rod, and angularly about the rod with respect to each other, thus forming a versatile clamping system for temporarily linking diverse objects.

Abstract: A golf umbrella case is designed for positioning in a golf bag between two transverse partitioning strips at a top opening of the golf bag for receiving a golf umbrella therein, so that the golf bag has an integral and valuable appearance without an outward protruded portion to collide or interfere with external things and cause discomfort to a person carrying the golf bag on shoulder. Any rainwater remained on the golf umbrella is collected in the golf umbrella case without internally wetting the golf bag, and the golf umbrella case may be easily removed from the golf bag to clear rainwater and dust accumulated therein.

Abstract: A display apparatus has a monitor body. The display apparatus includes a supporting part disposed in the monitor body; a stand having an mounting part mutually coupled to the supporting part; and an elastic member interposed between the supporting part and the mounting part. Here, the display apparatus in which the monitor body is easily coupled to the stand thereof is provided.

Abstract: A monitor having a monitor body, includes a base member supporting the monitor body, a stationary stand member standing on the base member, a movable stand member coupled to the stationary stand member so as to move up and down, and having a locker accommodating part, a locker provided in one of the stationary stand member and the base member, so as to be locked into or releasing from the locker accommodating part of the movable stand member. With this configuration, the present invention provides a monitor, wherein the volume is diminished when it is packed.

Abstract: A device for holding pipes including two complementary parts intended for assembly, each having in its assembly face, at least one recess of a semicylindrical overall shape. Upon assembly, the corresponding recesses of the two parts form a shape that roughly corresponds to the exterior cross section of a pipe to be held between the two parts. Each part includes a body having at least one recess and is made of a rigid material. The radius of the recess exceeds the exterior radius of the pipe to be held and is lined with an intermediate half-shell made of an elastic material. The intermediate half-shell is further lined with an inner half-shell made of a rigid material. The interior radius of the inner half-shell corresponds roughly to the exterior radius of the pipe to be held. The two half-shells are secured to one another and to the body.

Abstract: A roller shade mounting system includes a pair of assemblies for limiting sagging in a roller shade tube. The assembly includes a single bearing supported by a shaft to position the bearing at a distance from an end of the tube. Alternatively, the assembly includes a bearing pair supported by a shaft to define spaced support points for applying a reaction moment the roller tube. The assembly further includes an attachment member secured to the shaft at a first end and to the structure at an opposite second end, either directly, or to a mounting bracket secured to the structure. The mounting assembly may further include a deflection adjustment member engaging the attachment member and a fixed support member to provide variable control of roller tube deflection.

Abstract: A flange for connecting a fan to a manway which enables the extension of lines from the exterior of the manway through the manway having the fan attached thereto, the flange having a top plate for connecting the flange to the fan, the top plate having a generally circular opening in the center thereof, a bottom plate for connecting the flange to the manway, the bottom plate having a generally circular opening in the center thereof, and a hollow sleeve having a cylindrical wall terminating in two generally circular ends, one of the two ends being connected to the bottom plate at the periphery of the opening in the bottom plate, and the other of the two ends being connected to the top plate at the periphery of the opening in the top plate, the sleeve having at least one opening in the wall for receipt of the lines.

Abstract: A support for holding an electronics assembly, comprises: (i) a rigid frame (6) that can be secured to the assembly; (ii) one or more cushioning elements (8) for protecting an electronics assembly held by the support against mechanical shocks during handling; and (iii) a plurality of handles (16) to enable the support to be manually lifted. The handles may be employed to lift both the assembly and the support, or they may be used to release the support from the assembly once the assembly is in place in an electronics cabinet. The support protects the assembly during installation in data centres after other packing materials have been discarded.

Abstract: A storage device for accessories, such as wakeboards and the like on a boat, may be mounted to maximize space and secure objects for storage. The device includes displaceable levers, fixed arms, and an actuating assembly that provides a spring bias for displacing the levers towards the fixed arms to provide a clamping force against an item or accessory to be stored.

Abstract: The present invention provides a suction cup assembly having a magnetic tether system attached to a suction cup. The assembly includes a resilient suction cup, tether, holder and magnet. This assembly enables a suction cup to hold items on non-magnetic, smooth surfaces using a magnet.

Abstract: A tip-up tent is provided, comprising a foldable tubular A-frame comprising four diagonal legs connected to a horizontal member, a hinged transparent flexible cover supported by the A-frame with each side of the cover having a lower flap with holes in each lower corner, and a plurality of arrow-shaped stakes, wherein the tip-up tent is held in place on ice by stakes driven into the ice through the holes or by snow piled up on the flaps. The tip-up tent has particular utility in connection with protecting an ice fishing tip-up from the wind and snow.

Abstract: A picture hanger has two portions that are movably connected to each other. One portion is fixed to a picture to be hung on a support, and one portion is attached to a picture hanging element, such as a nail, or a picture hanging hook, or the like that is fixed to a support such as a wall. The portions of the picture hanger are moved with respect to each other to locate and orient the picture once the picture is hung on the support.

Abstract: A stand for clamping rod-shaped parts has a foot part with a base plate and a seating region, which is formed by a wall contour with individual wall regions. The rod-shaped part is inserted with its lower end into the opening of the seating region and initially fixed by means of an arbor. Pivotable holding elements are placed against the rod-shaped part by means of a tensioning device. The holding elements are actuated by the tensioning device, which has a tensioning lever, a drum and a housing. A flexible connecting element, which pulls the holding element inward into the clamping position, is pulled together by means of the tensioning device. In order to introduce forces gently, the ends of the flexible connecting part are guided from the holding elements to the tensioning device in a special guiding block, which consists of a material which can be subjected to higher loads than can the material of the remaining foot part.

Abstract: An elevation regulator of display, comprising a base member 1, and an elevation member 3 moving up and down with respect to the base member 1. The elevation member 3 is provided with a part 6 for fixing a display D. The base member 1 is provided with spiral springs 2, 2 being uncoiled as the elevation member 3 lowers to urge the elevation member 3 upward.

Abstract: An umbrella system for rafts and other moving vehicles is described. The umbrella system includes a support system offset from the umbrella so that the support mast. The support system also includes one or more quick-connection/quick-disconnection systems so that the umbrella system can be quickly removed from the raft or vehicle and disassembled into several, shorter, more compact parts. The preferred umbrella opening and closing system does not include cables, cranks, or other complex structure, but rather is made from a handle underneath the center of the umbrella that can be manually pushed and pulled upward and downward, respectively, to open and close the umbrella. The umbrella system can be adjusted to shade a large area by a few simple adjustments of a preferred pivotal joint, or by quick detachment of the support system from the raft and re-attachment in another location on the raft, for example.
