Abstract: A fastener for an image display assembly comprising a polygonal planar body having a ventral surface with at least one fastening member extending from the ventral surface. The fastening member comprises a fastening member body and at least one cantilever tab extending from the fastening member body. Each cantilever tab comprises a fastener retainer facing the ventral surface. Also provided is an image display assembly comprising retaining features; an assembled image display comprising said image display assembly and said fastener; a kit comprising said image display assembly and said fastener; a method of creating an image display; and use of said image display assembly and said fastener to create an image display.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a simulated solid fuel, including a fuel body, a flow guiding device, a mist source and a light source. The fuel body houses a mist distribution chamber and an air directing chamber which are isolated from each other, and the surface of the fuel body includes mist outlets and mist inlets, the mist outlets and the mist inlets all communicating with the mist distribution chamber. The flow guiding device provides an upwardly rising air flow in the air directing chamber. The mist source delivers mist to the mist distribution chamber through the mist inlets, and is then attracted by the air flow injected from the air ejection port to move toward the middle area of the fuel body to form a flame shape, and is irradiated by the light emitted from the light source, thereby truly simulating the realistic effect of solid fuel combustion.

Abstract: Embodiments of adaptable road signs and methods of manufacture are provided. In some embodiments, the adaptable road signs have messages that can quickly be changed by, for instance, applying a placard or banner on the road sign. In some embodiments, the adherence of a placard to the face of the road sign is facilitated by arrays of magnetic features embedded in the sign face and the placard.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are related to modular display panels. In one embodiment, a modular display panel includes a first side which includes a display surface, and an opposite second side. The modular display panel further includes a plastic enclosure including an outer surface that forms substantially all of the second side. The modular display panel further includes LEDs arranged as pixels attached to a printed circuit board which is attached to the plastic enclosure. The modular display panel further includes a circuit for controlling the LEDs and a power source for powering the LEDs. The front side of the printed circuit board is sealed to be waterproof and the plastic enclosure is sealed to be waterproof so that the modular display panel is sealed to be waterproof.

Abstract: Sign and display systems including a faceplate, lens, backing plate, and at least one magnet are described. In some embodiments, the faceplate includes a viewing aperture and the back of the faceplate includes a recess in which the at least one magnet is mounted. The recess in the faceplate is configured to receive the lens and backing plate. In some embodiments, the faceplate includes two recesses in the back surface, where the first level recess is configured to receive a backing plate and the second lower level recess is configured to receive the lens. The at least one magnet can be mounted in either a first recessed surface of the first level recess or the backing plate. When the lens and backing plate are positioned in the faceplate, the one or more magnets exert a force to secure the faceplate, lens, and backing plate together.

Abstract: A system for a placard holder including a holding assembly and an attaching assembly is disclosed herein. There is a bracket made of metal or plastic configured to hold a placard and attach to a vehicle's visor thereby enabling the placard to swing down once the visor is moved down. There is a hole in the middle of the bracket adapted to receive a fastener therein for holding of all components together. Also utilized is hook and loop fasteners for removable attachment of the holding assembly to the visor. Further, the system for a placard holder includes a unique design and quarter-shaped profile. It is possible to retrofit the system for a placard holder onto existing visors of vehicles.

Abstract: A holder for electronic shelf labels includes a channel having upper and lower ledges with upper and lower gripping flanges defining an engagement space into which a back of the electronic shelf label is mounted. A fin extends from a backplane of the channel, the fin having one side perpendicular to the backplane. The front of the upper and lower gripping flanges have inwardly-directed bevels. A breakaway guide is connected by a thinned portion to the backplane to engaging an edge of a mounting structure. The breakaway guide is removable following mounting of the channel.

Abstract: There is provided a vehicle seat including: a seatback; a seat cushion; an airflow generating device that generates a difference in pressure between a supporting surface side and a side opposite the supporting surface, and that generates an airflow; and a cushion layer that is provided at, of the seatback or the seat cushion, a side at which the airflow generating device is disposed, and that structures a portion of the supporting surface side, and that is structured to include a main air permeable portion that is set to a predetermined void ratio and through which a majority of the airflow generated by the airflow generating device passes, and an auxiliary air permeable portion, which is set to a void ratio that is lower than that of the main air permeable portion and whose air permeability is lower than that of the main air permeable portion.

Abstract: A corrugated display sign with a former panel secured to a backer panel. The former panel includes a central section opposed by two lateral sections, two support members partially cut away from the central section and maintaining a connection with the central section via at least one fold line, and two or more preformed slots, with one slot positioned adjacent to the support members. The display sign further includes a graphic panel operable to be wrapped around exterior edges of the lateral sections, and having ends secured to the backer panel. The display sign is capable of being erected from a knockdown configuration to an erected configuration by folding the lateral sections away from the central section and wrapping the graphic panel about the lateral sections.

Abstract: A liquid-filled ornament comprising a base. A transparent casing is filled with a liquid and bits of solid material disposed in the liquid. A driving mechanism includes a motor and a bar rotated by operation of the motor. A pair of magnets are mounted on opposite ends of the bar. A driven mechanism is located entirely within the casing and includes a base. A support is operatively connected to the base by a cylindrical shaft having upper and lower shoulders. A rotating member has a planar body with a central opening received on the shaft and including a plurality of radially outwardly extending paddles for stirring the liquid upon rotation of the rotating member. Each paddle is in a plane perpendicular to the planar body. The paddles taper above and below the planar body. A pair of magnets are positioned on the planar body, aligned with the pair of magnets on the bar, for magnetic interaction with the pair of magnets mounted on the bar, so that the rotating member is rotated by rotation of the bar.

Abstract: A solar-powered device that moves advertising signs to attract attention of passersby is disclosed. The Solar panels makes the solar sign spinner independent of the electrical grid. It moves from a power source that is free. This gives it the freedom to be used in remote locations. The lack of dependency on the power grid makes the device easy to transport to remote locations. The solar sign spinner can operate as long as there is sunshine. If it happens to stop motion due lack of sunlight, it becomes a garden variety “yard” sign.

Abstract: An illumination panel includes a transparent structural core having two opposing surfaces, a matrix of light releasing dots substantially covering both the opposing surfaces, and a protective panel in abutting contact with each of the opposing surfaces whereby the dots are an adhesive for bonding the core to the protective panels and wherein the density or size of the dots increases across the illumination panel in a direction away from an illumination panel edge adjacent a light emitting element.

Abstract: An advertising medium includes a frame enclosing a traffic signal control cabinet. Tie rods extend between lock devices, which are secured to rails of the frame such that removing the frame from its position around the cabinet is prevented. As a result, advertising material may be secured to a traffic signal control cabinet without intruding upon or modifying the cabinet.

Abstract: Provided is a logo-plate component including a release sheet attached to the bottom face of a logo plate having an adhesive layer on the bottom face, the release sheet being provided with a cut-away portion exposing a part of the bottom face of the adhesive layer. Equipment is shipped with the logo-plate component temporarily fixed to an equipment body by the adhesive force of the exposed portion of the adhesive layer inside the cut-away portion of the release sheet. A user for the equipment detaches the temporarily fixed logo-plate component from the equipment body, detaches the release sheet from the logo plate, and fixes the logo plate to the equipment body in a desired orientation with the adhesive layer on the back face of the logo plate.

The support piece (A) is made of a rigid triangular element with a clamp fastening onto the upper part of a vehicle window to support the signaling plate (B). As for the signaling plate (B), it is comprised of a long rectangular piece with a large positioning area for the reflective element (8). To ensure the signposted vehicle is easily seen by traffic on its same side, a reflective arrow changing color between red and white, with the arrow vertex as far as possible from the vehicle that carries it, is used.

Abstract: An adapter device is described for fastening an information carrier to a support trail provided with two retaining means, wherein the adapter device includes a first leg and a second leg, each of which is supportable on one of the two retaining means. This adapter device is to be refined in such a way that a secure retention of the adapter device on the support rail is ensured, even after repeated mounting of the adapter device on or removal of the adapter device from the support rail and, at the same time, the costs for producing the adapter device are preferably minimal.

Abstract: A greeting card having a transparent and flexible pouch enclosing a deformable object is disclosed. The transparent and flexible pouch is vacuum sealed with the deformable object inside, such that the deformable object compresses. A transparent insert may be placed inside of the transparent and flexible pouch, in order to minimize disfiguration of the deformable object during the compression process.

Abstract: An interactive display module operative to be inserted over an existing tiered greeting card display fixture. The interactive display may contain one or more spinners which are able to spin about a horizontal axis. Each spinner contains many sides or facets, each side or facet containing a removable caption strip thereon containing various words, phrases, graphics or other printed matter. The use of two or more spinners allow for the random creation or phrases, graphics, etc. that are intended to provide the consumer with a fun way to interact with the greeting card fixture.
