  • Patent number: 8112924
Abstract: An expandable support assembly for hanging a sign on a host structure subject to dimensional changes over time includes a pair of elongate arms pivotally attached together at a crossing point, a connector pivotally attaching the elongate arms together and permitting the arms to rotate relative to each other, four anchors, and a panel attached to the connector for supporting the sign. Each anchor engages a respective longitudinal portion of one of the arms such that the connector is positioned between two anchors with respect to each arm. The anchors are movable along the arms for securing the expandable support assembly to the host structure. The arms are adapted to permit movement of the anchors along the arms and the connector is adapted to permit relative rotation of the arms in response to dimensional changes over time of the host structure.

  • Patent number: 8099889
Abstract: A recipient verification system including a strap, a pocket, a tether, and a label strip. The strap is configured for placement about a wearer's appendage (e.g., wrist, ankle, etc.). The pocket is coupled to the strap and forms an interior region that is exteriorly accessible via an open end. A portion of the tether is permanently captured at the pocket. The label strip is attached to the tether. The tether and the attached label strip are repeatedly transitionable between a first state and a second state. In the first state, the tether and at least a majority of the label strip is within the pocket, and thus protected. In the second state, at least a majority of the label strip is outside of the interior region of the pocket, and available for use by a user.

  • Patent number: 8074389
Abstract: A printer processible wristband has a cinch slot at one end and an imaging area at another, connected with a strap therebetween. The imaging area is shaped like a shovel and the cinch slot is shaped like a ā€œDā€ and sized so that the imaging area interference fits through the cinch slot to thereby join the wristband about the wrist. The imaging area may have one of its ends adhered to the strap to clamp it in place and further secure the wristband or it may be left loose to act as a hang tag. Alternate embodiments are disclosed including providing a self adhering label to attach to the imaging area, providing a layer of laminate to laminate the printed information or label, providing a second imaging area along with a second strap, and providing a snap closure to further attach the wristband.
