  • Patent number: 11663884
Abstract: A unified wallet manager (UWM) virtualized as a single virtual service in which all transactions relative to the UWM are treated as immutable facts permanently stored in append-only queues or ledgers from the time of their creation. A rules engine reads conversion requests in request calls to the service, and determines which rule or rules to apply to convert funds from one ledger to another, in the same or different vertically scaled gaming systems. The UWM is a peer of other vertical gaming systems, and the gaming systems access the UWM via an API server and data egresses from the UWM through an ETL process from a database cluster. The immutable queues allow for data reconstruction using any desired data model. The ledger stores funds of many different types, including real money, points, play money, and others. Third parties can integrate with the UWM through an integration hub connected to the UWM.

  • Patent number: 11657244
Abstract: A system contributing to prevention of unauthorized use of an information code displayed on a screen. In the system, an information code display device cyclically displays a plurality of partial code images on a display screen of a display unit based on a first rule when the first rule is received from a server in response to a first request to the server. Accordingly, an information code reading device captures images of the display screen at imaging intervals according to a second rule which is received from the server by in response to a second request to the server to decode an information code composed of the plurality of images thus captured, according to the second rule.

  • Patent number: 11645480
Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a multilayer chip component according to an aspect of the present disclosure, laser processing is used for forming dots of a two-dimensional code. This laser processing is laser processing with respect to a laminate substrate in a state before baking is performed, and an impact at the time of processing is absorbed to a certain degree due to elastic deformation of the laminate substrate. For this reason, according to the manufacturing method, occurrence of cracking can be curbed compared to laser processing with respect to an element body in a state after baking is performed.

  • Patent number: 11620466
Abstract: Multi-axis self-location method and apparatus wherein de Bruijn sequences on 2 or more axes are convolved into an array of symbols such as halftone dots to form a reference scale. The position of an imaging device such as a camera relative to the reference scale is ascertained from the captured camera image by bit-wise reconstitution of axis position codes with simple, predominantly linear operations over small neighbourhoods. Judicious choice of differential coding, LFSR generator polynomials, mathematical operators, and deconvolution kernels enables code digits of an axis to be regenerated while simultaneously cancelling out the contributions of other axes. Also optionally provided are uniform DC-balanced variants yielding greatly improved position interpolation, isometric implementations decodable from high-aspect-ratio sample windows, robust concatenated error correction, and extensions into n-space.

  • Patent number: 11599737
Abstract: A tag with sufficient variability is generated. The tag facilitates quick location and processing within a facility. During generation, a matrix representative of a possible tag may be tested for sufficient variability. A two-dimensional matrix representing the possible tag may include different bit values at different positions. A variability metric of the matrix is performed to check the variability between adjacent elements of the matrix. This variability metric of the matrix is then compared against a variability threshold value. If the variability metric of the matrix falls below the threshold value, the matrix is flagged as unusable. If the variability metric of the matrix exceeds the threshold value, the matrix can be used to generate a tag with sufficient variability. Once generated, the tag can be presented and affixed to an item or object to help identify and locate the item within the facility.
