Abstract: A multispectral camouflage fabric having a camouflage pattern containing a least a first, second, and third color. Each of the first, second, and third colors contain at least one dye and at least one of the first, second, and third colors contains carbon black. The camouflage pattern has a short wave infrared (SWIR) reflectance pattern and contains first, second, and third reflectance zones. Each reflectance zone has an upper and lower reflectance zone boundary and the difference between the upper and lower first reflectance zone boundaries is approximately 10 percentage points. The difference between the first and second zone and the second and third zone is approximately 10 percentage points. At essentially all wavelengths within the SWIR portion of the spectrum, the first color falls within the first zone boundaries, the second color falls within the second zone boundaries, and the third color falls within the third zone boundaries.
Abstract: Provided is a multilayer lamination film for laser printing that does not require a special ink that discolors by laser light irradiation, and that makes it possible to obtain a printed line having high visibility by irradiation of laser light having a power sufficiently low to avoid damaging a base film. The multilayer lamination film for laser printing includes at least a base material layer, a printing layer, and a sealant layer. The printing layer is a layer made of an ink composition enabling printing by means of laser light. The ink composition is made of white ink containing at least a titanium oxide and a binder resin, the binder resin containing a crystalline component.

Abstract: A carbene-coated metal foil is produced by applying an N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) compound to one or more surfaces of a metal foil (e.g., an electrodeposited copper foil having a surface that is smooth and non-oxidized). The NHC compound contains a matrix-reactive pendant group that includes at least one of a vinyl-, allyl-, acrylic-, methacrylic-, styrenic-, amine-, amide- and epoxy-containing moiety capable of reacting with a base polymer (e.g., a vinyl-containing resin such as a polyphenylene oxide/triallyl-isocyanurate (PPO/TAIC) composition). The NHC compound may be synthesized by, for example, reacting a halogenated imidazolium salt (e.g., 1,3-bis(4-bromo-2,6-dimethylphenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-3-ium chloride) and an organostannane having a vinyl-containing moiety (e.g., tributyl(vinyl)stannane) in the presence of a palladium catalyst.

Abstract: An insulated wire includes a conductor including a copper material, and an insulation layer that is formed on an outer periphery of the conductor. A restoring temperature TB of the conductor is not more than 130° C. The restoring temperature TB is a temperature that is needed to restore a conductivity of the conductor after a coil processing to a conductivity of the conductor before the coil processing.
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe techniques for a magnetic conductive device including a substrate, an under layer above the substrate, and a magnetic conductive layer including NiFe alloy formed on the under layer. A method for forming a magnetic conductive device includes forming a support stack including an under layer above a substrate, cleaning the support stack, and performing electrodeposition on the under layer by placing the support stack into a plating bath to form NiFe alloy on the under layer. The NiFe alloy includes Ni in a range of about 74% to about 84%, and Fe in a range of about 26% to about 16%. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract: A surface including a notch. The notch is defined by first and second surfaces, wherein the second surface extends at a non-zero angle with respect to the first surface. Abstract: A graphene adsorbing material, a preparation method therefor and application thereof, and a cigarette filter tip and a cigarette are provided. The graphene adsorbing material comprises a fiber carrier, graphene and doped elements wherein the graphene and the doped elements are loaded on the fiber carrier and the doped elements comprise at least one of Al, Si and Fe. The graphene adsorbing material is obtained by contacting the fibers with the graphene material to load the graphene material on the fibers. By introducing the graphene and the doped elements in the fiber carrier, harmful substances with a type of fused aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzopyrene in smoke can be specifically adsorbed, filtered and removed; while nicotine and the other harmless substances are retained, and thus the smoking taste of a cigarette is not affected.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may relate to a time-dependent color-changing label for a product. The label may include a first layer comprising a plurality of particles, the particles comprising a time dependent color-changing material that changes color after a predetermined time period, the predetermined time period being greater than one month. The label may also include an attachment structure attaching the first layer to the product. In certain embodiments, the first layer may include a polymer, and the particles may include glass microspheres containing the time-dependent color changing material. The particles may be embedded in the polymer.
