Abstract: An apparatus includes a housing, a valve located within the housing, the valve being adapted to fluidly connect to an external toilet and an external water supply that provides water to the toilet, and a water sensor. The valve includes an open position, in which the water supply is enabled to supply water to the toilet, and a closed position, in which the external water supply is prevented from supplying water to the toilet. The water sensor is electrically connected to the valve and is operable between an inactivated state, in which the water sensor is substantially dry, and an activated state, in which the water sensor is subjected to an amount of water. When the water sensor is in its activated state, the valve is moved to its closed position to cut off the water supply to the toilet.

The wave pool further includes at least one foil at least partially submerged in the water near the side wall, and being adapted for movement by a moving mechanism in a direction along the side wall for generating a wave in the channel that forms a breaking wave on the sill. The wave pool further includes one or more passive flow control mechanisms to mitigate a mean flow of the water induced by the movement of the at least one foil in the direction along the side wall.
Abstract: A smart susceptor assembly including an electromagnetic flux source such as one or more inductors, a geometrically complex-shaped susceptor having one or more contours, and a cladding on or over the susceptor. The cladding can alter both the thermal performance and the electrical operation of the smart susceptor assembly. With regard to thermal performance, the cladding can function as a passive heat exchanger to dissipate thermal energy across the surface of the susceptor. With regard to electrical operation, the cladding can provide a current path after portions of the susceptor heat and become low or non-magnetic.

Abstract: A retractable platform for use in conjunction with a toilet seat configured to be compact when in the retracted position. The retracted platform becomes a generally leveled standing platform when engaged in the opened position providing a stable platform for a child to stand on and turn around to position oneself to sit on a toilet seat. When the platform is in the retracted position, it allows an adult to sit on a toilet seat without any obstruction from the stool to their legs or feet. A cut out on its front panel receive adult-sized feet so the platform in the retracted position does not have to be physically moved when an adult needs to use the toilet. The retracted platform can be easily moved to assist a child needing a vertical advantage in a different location.
Abstract: The embodiments disclosed herein provide an adjustable wash basin drain wherein a fitting angle of the contact surfaces between the wash basin and the drain can be adjusted to achieve a better seal between the wash basin and the drain. The wash basin drain may include a split-type drain flange that includes an upper connector seat, a lower connector seat, and a flange connector. The upper connector seat is configured to snap fit to an upper end of a water discharge hole of the wash basin. The lower connector seat is connected to a water discharge pipe, and may be disposed beyond a bottom end of the wash basin. The flange connector connects the upper connector seat with the lower connector seat.
Abstract: A melting tool control apparatus comprises a drive mechanism, a melt processing assembly configured to perform a melt process, a receiving module that receives input of three-dimensional coordinate information of a first point where the melt process is to be performed and input of a position information indicating a position different from the first point, and a process control module configured to control the melt processing assembly to perform the melt process when the distal end is at the first point.
Abstract: Disclosed is a disposable for use with a surface that defines a basin for receiving liquid. The disposable has a pair of surfaces spaced apart from one another by a tubular sidewall. One of the pair of surfaces is positioned, in use, against the basin-defining surface. In use, gas issues through the sidewall in the form of bubbles. The disposable is useful in association with foot spas and the like. A mechanism for puncturing a liner is also disclosed.

Abstract: A removable trap for lavatory sinks is provided to enable new technologies to be incorporated into just the water trap portion of the sink trap to maximize the performance of the trap in infection control, while at the same time preserving the trap performance features demanded by major building codes. While a traditional P-trap requires the removal of the entire trap for cleaning or replacement, the removable trap presented in this application allows for easy removal of just the U-bend portion of the trap by releasing latch clamps. The U-bend containing the water is the most vulnerable to attack to cleaning chemicals as well as the most effective locus of innovation in materials and methods employed to reduce infectious bacteria forming biofilms within the lavatory trap.
