Abstract: A photographic element comprising a light sensitive silver halide emulsion sensitized with a dye of formula (I) and a nucleating agent or amine booster associated with the silver halide emulsion: ##STR1## wherein: R.sub.3 is an alkyl group, alkenyl group, or aryl groupR.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are each hydrogen, an alkyl group, alkenyl or aryl group;R.sub.6, R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 are, independently, an alkyl group, alkenyl group, aryl group, or H;the dye has at least three acid or acid salt substituents; andeach L independently represents a methine group;p is 0 or 1;Z.sub.1 represents the atoms necessary to complete a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring group;(X).sub.n represents counterions as needed to balance the charge on the molecule.The present invention also provides a process for forming a high contrast photographic image on a photographic element having a light sensitive silver halide emulsion sensitized with a dye of formula (I).

Abstract: Dye fade in photographic images prepared from a silver halide photographic element having a light sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a pyrazoloazole dye forming coupler is reduced by using a combination of stabilizer compounds of formula S, formula I and optionally formula R.
Abstract: A color reversal photographic element having a light sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and a second layer containing a light insensitive silver halide emulsion. Abstract: Photographic elements comprising loaded latex compositions are prepared by (a) combining under conditions of low or moderate shear, in the presence of surfactant, and in the substantial absence of water-miscible or volatile organic solvents, a liquid organic composition comprising at least one photographically useful compound with an aqueous polymer latex, (b) holding the combination resulting from (a) in a liquid state for sufficient time for substantial loading of the organic coposition into the polymer latex to occur, and (c) coating the loaded latex resulting from (b) on a support.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic material which has an excellent dimensional stability and which is easy in the register operation is disclosed. A surface backing layer is further provided on the anticurl backing layer. The surface backing layer comprises a hydrophobic polymer. Abstract: Certain 2,1-benzisoxazol-3(1H)-ones are useful as antioxidants in photographic color developer compositions. These compounds are highly water soluble and are essentially odorless. In addition, they have extended shelf life. They are useful in processing silver halide color photographic elements having at least one incorporated dye forming coupler.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of toner compositions comprising: forming a mixture comprised of at least one free radical reactive monomer, a colorant, a stabilizer compound containing a stable free radical reactive group, and a liquid vehicle; and heating the mixture from about 75.degree. to about 200.degree.
