  • Patent number: 11664110
Abstract: A method for administering stimulations to a sleeping subject is provided. The method includes obtaining brain wave data generated based on brain wave activity of the subject over a predetermined time frame and determining a spectral power ratio of a spindle band to delta and theta bands of the brain wave data at a time within the predetermined time frame. The spectral power ratio and brain wave data are sent to the input of a pretrained deep neural network to generate a probability score that sleep spindles are being detected in the brain wave activity. The method may continue to obtain brain wave data and analyze the data using the pretrained deep neural network. A determination that sleep spindles are detected may be made when the probability score is above a predetermined threshold score for a predetermined threshold period of time.

  • Patent number: 11621062
Abstract: A method for providing secure medical alerts includes executing, using a mobile healthcare worker application executing on a mobile healthcare worker device, a Health Level 7 (HL7) compliant protocol to retrieve medical profiles from a cloud computing server. Using the mobile healthcare worker application, a medical profile of a person (e.g., child or child's mother) is identified from the medical profiles when the mobile healthcare worker device is disconnected from the cloud computing server. The identifying includes reading, using a quick response (QR) code scanner, a QR code of an immunization document of the person, or capturing, using a biometric sensor, biometric data of the person. Using the medical profile of the person, an alert is generated indicating a medical deadline for the person on a graphical user interface of the mobile healthcare worker device when the mobile healthcare worker device is disconnected from the cloud computing server.

  • Patent number: 11488689
Abstract: Servers of a clinical trial support network have digital data processors which execute an automated tracking and prediction model for patient engagement. The model is linked with an interfacing tool used by doctor managing a group of patients and an interfacing tool used by patients for real time capture of events. The system processes factor values to generate and track in real time a patient engagement index. The system uses the factor values to maintain a taxonomy of factor values. The system is also programmed to determine values of characteristics derived from the factors, such as a characteristic indicating time-based trend of a factor. Another advantageous characteristic is impact of multiple occurrences of a factor.

  • Patent number: 11461848
Abstract: A method and system teaches unique applications of logic and statistics to medical processes to obtain substantially improved accuracy in the measurement of a examinee's pathology due to an injury. The method and the system incorporate strict protocols, or “Administrative Rule Sets” to direct the examination for the purpose of obtaining an optimal data set, from which a rating of the impairment due to the pathology resulting from an injury may be determined. Additionally, within this method and system, a statistical analysis may additionally assist in obtaining an improved accuracy of impairment ratings. Consequently, the errors in the impairment rating presently carried forward through the disability, care and compensation phases of the process are now avoided.

  • Patent number: 11404161
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating and presenting a clinical workforce management interface to assign staff in a clinical setting. The interface may present components including an aggregate patient population profile listing individual patients in a unit, the projected workload capacity the care for those patients represents, and an assignment bar depicting provider assignments for that patient over a designated time period. The interface may likewise present a provider population profile which lists available care providers in a unit, as well as their capacity ratings, skill sets, shifts, or other schedule data characterizing available clinical staff. A charge nurse or other staff manager may view and manipulate the provider-to-patient assignments, for instance by dragging and dropping visual elements to perform assignments. Compliance monitoring functions such as maintaining provider ratios may be automatically performed, and the staff manager may be alerted when ratios or criteria violate limits.
