Abstract: A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for responsive web page delivery based on network bandwidth. Upon initiation of a network communication session, a bandwidth of a network connection of the client device involved in the network communication session is determined. At least one initial display element to provide as part of a webpage for display on the client device is selected based on the bandwidth of the network connection. Instructions are then provided to the client device which cause the client device to display the at least one display element. In some embodiments, an updated bandwidth is subsequently determined and updated display elements are selected based on the updated bandwidth.

Abstract: A secondary device receives presence information for a content item that is synchronized by a content management system with the secondary device and with a primary device. If a user of the primary device is present as indicated by the presence information, a collaboration element is displayed on the secondary device. Responsive to a user input at the collaboration element, a collaboration request is sent to the primary device, and collaboration information enabling collaborative interaction with an instance of the content item on the primary device is received.

Abstract: Utilizing a computing device to automatically locate a link to a target web page whose link from a referring web page is broken. A computing device receives a request to access a link to a target web page from a referring web page. The computing device receives a notification indicating that the link to the target web page is broken. The computing device locates a new link to the target web page utilizing one or more keywords. The computing device provides access to the target web page.

Abstract: A gradient sensing probe system, and method of using same, including a sensing segment which includes a plurality of sensors, a support structure, and an electrical interface having first and second faces. The system further includes a housing, a power source, and an electronics package including a controller and disposed within the housing. The sensing segment is configured to measure external gradients and to exchange data with the controller. The power source is connected energetically to provide power to the sensing segment and the electronics package, and is controlled by the controller.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed of providing a user application with a notification message. One example method may include receiving a notification message and identifying a predetermined category of a notification bar portion of the user application to display the notification message. The method may also include associating the notification message with the identified predetermined category and determining a level of importance of the notification message. The method may also provide displaying a notification indicator on the notification bar according to the predetermined category and to the notification type that corresponds to the level of importance.

Abstract: Persisting atomically linked entities when utilizing an auto-complete mechanism is provided. A computing device may be utilized to receive an input in a user interface. The computing device may then display an auto-complete suggestion list in response to receiving the input in the user interface. A selection of an entity may then be received from the auto-complete suggestion list. The selected entity may then be atomically linked to program code defining an action. The atomically linked entity may then be inserted in the user interface. The atomically linked entity may then be persisted among the input received within the user interface. The input is modifiable and the atomically linked entity is unmodifiable within the user interface.

Abstract: A method and a system for authenticating users by implementing artificial intelligence techniques is provided. A graphical user interface (GUI) is rendered on a computing device of a user by a server. The GUI displays objects in random motion. The objects are selected in a sequential manner by the user to form a pattern. With each selection of the object, a corresponding confidence score is determined that is based on a set of factors. Further, the selected object becomes static and the remaining objects that are yet to be selected continue to move in random motion. On forming the pattern, the aggregate of confidence scores is determined to authenticate the user.

Abstract: A method and system is presented for dynamically predicting hotspots (predictive of a high volume of event occurrences) in a geographic location. The method calculates a hotspot probability measure for each grid within this geographic location by summing probability of predicted volume bucket with probabilities of all higher buckets (buckets are ordinal here). The method also calculates a hotspot score for each grid based on the corresponding hotspot probability measure, selects a pre-defined number of grids having the highest hotspot scores as predicted hotspots, and generates an alert indicating the predicted hotspots and displaying the alert on a predictive GUI, showing the multiple grids.

Abstract: A method of playing a video, applied to a terminal having a foldable display screen, includes: displaying a video playback interface for a target video; determining a video playback area and an auxiliary display area other than the video playback area in an unfolded display area of the foldable display screen according to a video aspect ratio of the target video when the foldable display screen is in an unfolded state; and displaying an auxiliary control related to playing the target video in the auxiliary display area. In the unfolded state, the video playback area for playing the target video is separated from the auxiliary display area for operating the target video, such that the target video can still be played normally when the target video is operated on, thereby allowing the user to perform the operation while watching the video.

Abstract: In one aspect, a computerized method for automatically implementing geocoding corrections in a routing system includes the step of providing a user-side mobile device, wherein the user-side mobile device comprises a routing application and display a web map. The method includes the step of geocoding a correction to the latitude and longitude of a point of interest. The method includes the step of enabling an end-user of the user-side mobile device to enters an address string into the routing application. The method includes the step of geocoding the address string to a best possible location. The method includes the step of generating a confidence score for the geocoded location. The method includes the step of providing the display of the web map with a set of draggable location markers on the web map with a confidence-sorted list on the side of the display. The method includes the step of posting a correctly geocoded location with a routing service using the routing application.

In some embodiments, the control device may control a first playback device by way of a legacy control application including a first control interface comprising first playback controls operable to control the first playback device in performing a set of legacy playback functions. The mobile device may control a second playback device by way of a production control application including a second control interface comprising second playback controls operable to control the second playback device in performing a set of production playback functions.

Abstract: A portable information handling system applies context determined from sensors to selectively configure a display to present either a single user interface for a single user or two separate user interfaces for first and second users. For instance, detection of rotational portions in a flat orientation in proximity of multiple users results in a separate user interface at each rotational portion so that each end user has a user interface to interact with.

Abstract: A user interface for managing allocations of network resources in a virtualized computing environment provides a graphical overview of the virtual computing environment that allows the user to visualize the virtual network, including the connections between the virtual network adapters and the uplink port groups that provide physical network resources for the virtual machines included in the virtualized computing environment. The user interface also provides graphical elements that allow the user to modify the virtual network, to migrate virtual machines from individual virtual switches to a distributed virtual switch, and/or to modify the arrangement of physical network adapters that provide network backing for the virtual machines. By providing these features, the user interface according to one or more embodiments of the present invention can allow the user to efficiently and safely manage the virtual network in the virtual computing environment.

Abstract: A method of creating and/or modifying a video for use in a head-mounted display while a user of the head-mounted display is carrying out a task that is illustrated by the video. The method may include processing an initial video to automatically determine when the initial video does not cover key aspects of the task and thus when video mashing is desired. When video mashing is desired, a supporting video is obtained to cover the missing key aspects, and the initial video and the supporting video are automatically mashed, result in a composite video for subsequent display on the head-mounted display.
