Abstract: The invention discloses a method for detecting service performance of a tunnel lining based on defect characteristics of the tunnel lining. A tunnel, an external load and stratum conditions are simulated by establishing a model using a model test method. A structural stress failure test for the model is carried out, and test results of the defect characteristics of a simulation lining of the model are recorded. A corresponding relationship between the defect characteristics of the simulation lining and the remaining bearing capacity interval is established according to the recorded test results. Detection results of defect characteristics of the tunnel lining are recorded using an in-situ detection method, and a remaining bearing capacity interval of the tunnel lining is determined based on the detection results according to the corresponding relationship between the defect characteristics of the simulation lining and the remaining bearing capacity interval of the model.

  • Patent number: 11180976
Abstract: A method is provided for determining the frequency of a multi-rate well testing operation in a gas-lifted hydrocarbon well. A well performance characteristic of the well is monitored using single-rate well tests. The monitored well performance characteristic is compared to a current well model performance characteristic. If the monitored well performance characteristic differs from the current well model performance characteristic by less than a predetermined amount, an amount of gas is injected into the well based on the current well model performance characteristic. If the monitored well performance characteristic differs from the current well model performance characteristic by more than a predetermined amount, a multi-rate well test is initiated the results of the multi-rate well test are fitted to a revised well model performance characteristic, and an amount of gas is injected into the well based on the revised well model performance characteristic.

  • Patent number: 11119140
Abstract: A fast wideband four noise parameter measurement and extraction method uses randomly distributed source impedance states, which are generated using wideband electro-mechanical tuners, and noise figure data collected in fast frequency sweeps; because of the random nature of source impedances reliable noise parameter values are extracted using selected source admittance states generated by sweeping the frequency by small amounts around a set of center frequencies instead of moving the tuner probe, hereby using the natural tuner phase rotation instead of a (time consuming) mechanical tuner sweep at a fixed center frequency. The core of the method is swapping slow tuner mechanical sweep with fast frequency sweeps, allowed since the 4 noise parameters are benign frequency functions.

  • Patent number: 11079224
Abstract: In this azimuth angle sensor, original magnetic detection data is sequentially acquired as data points in a triaxial coordinate system by detecting magnetism on three axes. An offset derivation device provided to the azimuth angle sensor derives offset values for correcting the original magnetic detection data and generating corrected magnetic detection data. The offset derivation device uses a plurality of data points in the original magnetic detection data or in the corrected magnetic detection data to derive provisional offset values, then derives the magnitude of magnetism on such an occasion on the basis of the original magnetic detection data and the provisional offset values. When the magnitude of magnetism thus derived is within a predetermined correction success range, the offset values are updated using the provisional offset values. When the magnitude of magnetism thus derived is not within the predetermined correction success range, the offset values are not updated.

  • Patent number: 11040301
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods for estimating a replacement status of an HVAC air filter. Outdoor weather data (e.g., outdoor temperature information), is obtained. A Total Runtime Value of the HVAC system is determined based upon the obtained outdoor weather data. Finally, a replacement status of the air filter is estimated as a function of a comparison of the Total Runtime Value with a Baseline Value. By correlating air filter replacement status with an estimated runtime of the HVAC system, a credible predictor of air filter usage is provided. By estimating fan runtime based on easily-obtained outdoor weather data, the methods are readily implemented with any existing HVAC system and do not require installation of sensors or other mechanical or electrical components to the HVAC system.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, there is provided a method of correcting recorded seismic data where each receiver clock is potentially inaccurate. Since the seismic wave field is not random, and contains coherent events that are recorded by all receivers in a local area, it is possible to estimate the differences in the time reference by comparing the recordings of different receivers in a local area. With no external time reference, time signal, or pilot trace, an entire seismic data itself can be used to determine how each receiver's clock is drifting from true time.
