  • Patent number: 11722857
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to an interactive text message based coaching program. A computer system generates customized messages for a first user containing information related to a health-related campaign program. The computer system generates the messages via a user interface in response to user-input provided by a second user. Messages are included in interaction components that include a user-specified link that logically connects the interaction component to another interaction component in a decision tree. The decision tree defines a sequence of messages to be sent to the first user. For example, a next message of the sequence can be based on a response from the first user to a previous message of the sequence.

  • Patent number: 11711327
Abstract: In some examples, user models are generated to represent experience of users with respect to their roles. Models that represent conditions are also generated. As part of generating a support element for a particular user, a triggering event is detected (e.g., an update to a user record), a condition is identified, a condition model and a user model are compared to identify a condition preparedness score. This score is used to generate the support element, which is shared with a user device of the user.

  • Patent number: 11696706
Abstract: Multi-state engagement with continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems is described. Given the number of people that wear CGM systems and because CGM systems produce measurements continuously, a platform that provides a CGM system may have an enormous amount of data. This amount of data is practically, if not actually, impossible for humans to process. In implementations, a CGM platform includes a data analytics platform that obtains packages of glucose measurements provided by a CGM system and also obtains additional data associated with a user. The data analytics platform generates state information for the user by processing these CGM packages and the additional data, at least in part, by using one or more models. Based on this state information, the data analytics platform controls communication with the user, which may include generating intervention strategies to prevent users from transitioning to a negative state such as discontinuing use of the CGM system.

  • Patent number: 11696701
Abstract: Systems and methods for estimating quantitative histological features of a subject's tissue based on medical images of the subject are provided. For instance, quantitative histological features of a tissue are estimated by comparing medical images of the subject to a trained model that relates histological features to multiple different medical image contrast types, whether from one medical imaging modality or multiple different medical imaging modalities. In general, the trained model is generated based on medical images of ex vivo samples, in vitro samples, in vivo samples or combinations thereof, and is based on histological features extracted from those samples. A machine learning algorithm, or other suitable learning algorithm, is used to generate the trained model. The trained model is not patient-specific and thus, once generated, can be applied to any number of different individual subjects.

  • Patent number: 11696728
Abstract: An amount of glycemic dysfunction associated with mis-timing (e.g., delay) of meal boluses based on replay analysis is determined. The amount of dysfunction of historical or estimated bolusing as compared to an optimally timed bolus based on the replay analysis is quantified and visualized. Inferences may be made about diabetes meal management regarding inputs from a patient.

  • Patent number: 11694291
Abstract: A computer-implemented trading platform, system, and method are provided for facilitating the trading and accounting for health quality offsets. So-called “health quality credits” related to emissions of ‘potentially avoidable complications’ (PACs) or ‘potentially avoidable mortality’ (PAMs). Emissions trading or “cap-and-trade” is an administrative approach used to control emissions that degrade public-goods assets by providing economic incentives for achieving and sustaining economically significant reductions in the emissions of pollutants that impair public goods such as clean air or health.

  • Patent number: 11694814
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer-readable media are provided for determining the likelihood of a presence or absence of one or more patient conditions based on unstructured text data from the electronic health records, which may accrue during the routine provisioning of care services. In particular, embodiments described herein use structural topic modeling (STM) to assess the textual information as to topical or concept-oriented expressions they contain that are statistically similar to those associated with various clinical conditions or diagnoses; to identify which condition- or diagnosis-oriented clusters the present texts most closely resemble, if any; and to notify the responsible clinicians of those determinations, suggesting consideration of those conditions or diagnoses as part of the constellation of differential diagnoses pertinent to the management of the patient.

  • Patent number: 11688517
Abstract: A false positive removal engine is provided. The false positive removal engine receives detected objects in one or more images. A machine learning classifier computer model, configured with first operational parameters to implement a first operating point, processes the received input to classify each detected object as being a true positive or a false positive to generate a first set of object classifications. If the first set is empty, the false positive removal engine outputs the first set as a filtered list of objects; otherwise the ML classifier computer model is configured with second operational parameters to implement a second operating point, different from the first operating point, which then processes the received input to classify each detected object and generate a second set of objects classified as true positive, which is output by the false positive removal engine as the filtered list of objects.
