  • Patent number: 11137108
Abstract: Apparatus for attaching a lockbox used for retaining a key to a door opened by the key to a door handle and especially a door lever used to open and close the door. The apparatus includes two arms each having a head portion and a bottom portion below the head portion. The arms have an open state in which the head portions are at least partly separated from one another, and a closed state in which an aperture is defined between the head portions and receives the door handle. The arms are positionable around the door handle or removable from such a position when in the open state. The arms are maintained in the closed state and movement thereof from the closed state to the open state is prevented by inserted a shackle of the lockbox through a staple engaged with both arms.

  • Patent number: 11105123
Abstract: Moto-controlled lock apparatus/mechanism that deploys locking pins to retain the shackle when the lock apparatus/mechanism is in the closed position. Generally, when the lock apparatus/mechanism is in the closed position, the locking pins are prevented from moving by a blocking cam. In various embodiments, the blocking cam is actuated by a motor that rotates the blocking cam, thereby forcing the locking pins into and holding the locking pins in compatibly-shaped cutouts in the shackle.

  • Patent number: 11098501
Abstract: Improvements in a hasp are disclosed. The hasp allows for locking the hasp with a cylindrical lock to operate on a door such as, but not limited to, a garage door, a roll-up door or a shed door. This configuration allows for upgrade or replacement of these types of door locks without requiring re-design or replacement of the door. The cylindrical locks offer a greater protection because they can't be “picked” using traditional lock picking tools. This makes the lock safer from people that may try to break into the door. The cylindrical lock fits primarily within the hasp. This prevents a person from grinding through the lock or shackle. The shackle can be configured with just the circular opening for the key visible. It can be further enclosed to prevent infestation from bugs such as hornets that can fill the inside of the hasp with dirt.

  • Patent number: 11091214
Abstract: A lock for securing a bicycle to a dock. The lock consumes little power in operation, with transitions between states in which a bicycle is locked to a dock and released from the dock being driven predominately by force applied to the bicycle by a user. Force applied to the bicycle may drive a latch within the lock to move between a latched and unlatched position. A locking member may be driven in one direction by an actuator and retained by an arm that blocks movement of the locking member. The locking member may be driven in the other direction by spring force, when the locking member is released by movement of the arm, which is coupled to the latch and therefore driven by a user applying force to a bicycle. As a result, a small battery may supply power to the actuator and to communication and control circuitry.

  • Patent number: 11085208
Abstract: A modular electrical safety assembly for use with a control device of an electrical equipment includes a magnet housing with a magnet, an equipment cover, and a slider. The magnet housing includes a magnet to selectively couple to the electrical equipment. The magnet induces an attraction force on the electrical equipment. The equipment cover is coupled to the magnet housing and configured to prevent operation of the control device. The slider is configured to translate along a surface of the equipment cover between a first position and a second position. In the first position it prevents a change in polarity of the magnet. In the second position it permits a change in polarity of the magnet. The slider and equipment cover lock together to selectively restrict translation of the slider.

  • Patent number: 11078713
Abstract: A safe for a firearm includes a container having a front opening that slidably receives a drawer having an open top that holds a firearm in a presentation position. A drop-down panel is slidably around the first side, front, and second side of the drawer when the drawer is in an extended potion. The drop-down panel is raised at least partially above the first side, front, and second side of the drawer when the drawer is in a retracted position inside the container to seal the front opening. A ramp is fixed within the internal volume of the container that raises the drop-down panel when the drawer is pushed backwardly into the container. A latch retains the drawer in the retracted position against a spring that urges the drawer into the extended position, and is selectively openable with a lock that releases the latch.
