  • Patent number: 11631256
Abstract: An object is to provide technology capable of appropriately estimating lane marking information. A travel path recognition apparatus includes a travel path recognizer. When a plurality of pieces of the lane marking information equal to or greater than a predetermined number are acquired, the travel path recognizer corrects the plurality of pieces of the lane marking information into a plurality of pieces of current-position lane marking information based on the vehicle behavior. Then, the travel path recognizer estimates one piece of current-position lane marking information as estimation lane marking information based on the plurality of pieces of current-position lane marking information to use the estimation lane marking information to recognize a travel path.

  • Patent number: 11620902
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for displaying lane information in a vehicle. In the method, the present position of the vehicle on a route is captured. A number of existing traffic lanes at the present position in the direction of travel of the vehicle on the route is determined. Furthermore, the lane course of the existing traffic lanes that lies ahead of the vehicle in the direction of travel of the vehicle is determined, wherein a first traffic lane is determined from the lane course, which is a target traffic lane for the vehicle. In a first display region, a first display is generated, which shows a schematic illustration of the existing traffic lanes at the present position of the vehicle, which schematic illustration comprises schematic traffic lanes, wherein the number of the schematic traffic lanes corresponds to the number of the existing traffic lanes, such that an existing traffic lane is assigned a schematic traffic lane in each case.

  • Patent number: 11599128
Abstract: A method for perception and fitting for a stair tracker includes receiving sensor data for a robot adjacent to a staircase. For each stair of the staircase, the method includes detecting, at a first time step, an edge of a respective stair of the staircase based on the sensor data. The method also includes determining whether the detected edge is a most likely step edge candidate by comparing the detected edge from the first time step to an alternative detected edge at a second time step, the second time step occurring after the first time step. When the detected edge is the most likely step edge candidate, the method includes defining, by the data processing hardware, a height of the respective stair based on sensor data height about the detected edge. The method also includes generating a staircase model including stairs with respective edges at the respective defined heights.

  • Patent number: 11590925
Abstract: An ADAS-linked active hood apparatus includes an ADAS device that measures information regarding a driving state of a vehicle and an object and a collision sensor unit that is positioned at a front of the vehicle and measures collision with the object. An active hood lift system (AHLS) raises one end of a hood of the vehicle based on a signal from the collision sensor unit. A controller sets a pedestrian detection threshold (PDT) turn, receives information regarding a plurality of front objects from the ADAS device to compensate for a PDT, compensates for an output reference value of the collision sensor unit based on the compensated PDT, and determines whether collision occurs using the collision sensor unit to adjust pop-up of the AHLS when an output value equal to or greater than the compensated reference value is applied.
