  • Patent number: 5769333
Abstract: A system including a method and an apparatus is disclosed for effectively separating a foamed heat-insulating material, such as insulated wall sections from used refrigeration equipment, into a foaming gas and a heat-insulating resin without any alteration and recovering them. A peeling portion for peeling a foamed heat-insulating material from a composite material containing the foamed heat-insulating material is included in a crusher provided with a high speed rotor having a plurality of hammers and a casing surrounding the rotor. A sorting portion is provided for sorting the foamed heat-insulating material with a tilting type wind force sorter having a limited tilting angle and a limited height of a wind tunnel. A pulverizing portion is provided for pulverizing the sorted foamed heat-insulating material and for separating a foaming gas therefrom. A condensing portion is provided for cooling and liquefying the separated foaming gas.

  • Patent number: 4702426
Abstract: A screenless mill which grinds and simultaneously conveys material utilizes a grinding system constituted by a rotating shaft on which grinding elements are fixed in a helical arrangement. The helical arrangement forms a screw which facilitates the advancement of the material in addition to grinding it. The screw pitch is adjustable in such a manner that when the material reaches the discharge port it has attained the required particle size. The grinding elements are readily interchangeable to permit replacement of worn or damaged parts or to treat a variety of materials as well as to vary the degree of grinding to be attained.

  • Patent number: 4611398
Abstract: An integrated circuit package cover includes a groove with a quadrangular cross-section which contains a self-supporting sealant material of similar cross-section. During assembly, the sealant material is penetrated by the lead-ins and flows around them to achieve an environmental seal for the packaged chip.
