Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods are provided for modeling, executing, and controlling context-driven user interactions. In some embodiments, systems and methods are provided for modeling user interactions and generating interaction models. Each generated interaction model may be executable for controlling a context-driven user interaction. The interaction model may include data identifying one or more interaction objects and one or more modules that are executable in session(s) of the modeled interaction.

Abstract: A dynamic-state recording apparatus according to the present disclosure includes an input device configured to be operated by a user; a display; display control means for displaying, on the display, a dynamic-state recording screen containing a plurality of report items required to be reported at a disaster site; and first storage means in which, each time the user selects a next report item to be reported among the plurality of report items through the input device, the selected report item and a report date and time of the selected report item are accumulated in a state in which the report item and the report date and time are associated with each other.

Abstract: Techniques for providing a suggested message to a user of a communication platform are described herein. The communication platform can receive a request, from a first user, to suggest a message (e.g., suggested message) to a second user with whom the first user is connected via the communication platform. The request can include contents of the suggested message and a user identifier associated with the second user. In some examples, the request can additionally include a suggested virtual space via which the suggested message is to be published, a suggested time for delivery, and/or the like. The communication platform can cause a presentation of the suggested message to the second user, such as via a user interface. In response to receiving an approval of the suggested message via the user interface, the communication platform can cause a publication thereof in association with a user account of the second user.

Abstract: A finger-mounted device may include finger-mounted units. The finger-mounted units may each have a body that serves as a support structure for components such as force sensors, accelerometers, and other sensors and for haptic output devices. The body may have sidewall portions coupled by a portion that rests adjacent to a user's fingernail. The body may be formed from deformable material such as metal or may be formed from adjustable structures such as sliding body portions that are coupled to each other using magnetic attraction, springs, or other structures. The body of each finger-mounted unit may have a U-shaped cross-sectional profile that leaves the finger pad of each finger exposed when the body is coupled to a fingertip of a user's finger. Control circuitry may gather finger press input, lateral finger movement input, and finger tap input using the sensors and may provide haptic output using the haptic output device.

Abstract: A client device processing received emoji messages using emoji-first messaging. Text messaging is automatically converted to emojis by an emoji-first application so that only emojis are communicated from one client device to another client device. Each client device has a library of emojis that are mapped to words, which libraries are customizable and unique to the users of the client devices, such that the users can communicate secretly in code. Upon receipt of a string of emojis, a user can select the emoji string to convert to text if desired, for a predetermined period of time.

Abstract: A DiskLink system is provided in the present disclosure. The DiskLink system is established on a cloud-based network, and is formed by cloud-based disks connecting to each other in a way similar to that of a neural network system. The DiskLink system includes information webpages that each display virtual reality scenes. When any movement option of one information webpage is selected, an information webpage program of the information webpage stores a movement record data in a browser. When each of the information webpages is executed, the information webpage program loads the movement record data from the browser and displays a previous webpage option. When the previous webpage option is selected, the browser displays a previous webpage address in the previous webpage option, and the information webpage program uses the movement record data to simulate a user selecting the movement options to change the virtual reality scenes.

Abstract: Example techniques may involve guest access to a media playback system. A guest may use a guest control device, such as a smartphone or tablet, to control aspects of a host's media playback system. In addition, the guest may temporarily register their user account of a streaming audio service with the host's media playback system, which enables playback of audio content from that service by one or more playback devices of the media playback system. When the guest control device de-registers from the host's media playback system, retrieval of audio content from the streaming audio service is disabled.

Abstract: The system and method disclosed collects user reported, self-monitored On-task/Off-task Behavior, Fidgeting Behaviors and Walking/Running behaviors as quantified by motion sensors and an intelligent scheduling system. The collected data tells the reminder device what environment a user is scheduled to be in at any point in time in order to appropriately collect behavioral information and use said information to encourage users to be mindful of their own actions and behaviors in order to increase time spent on-task.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes causing display, in a graphical user interface on a client device, of a page with a navigational panel including a selectable tree element having a hierarchical relationship to a current electronic page having its user-generated content being displayed in a content panel. The method includes identifying a set of candidate cards in which each card is associated with a respective electronic page and has a respective relatedness score. The method includes identifying a user profile in accordance with an authentication of an user operating the client device, and selecting, from the set of candidate cards, a subset of candidate cards satisfying permissions criteria based on permissions identified in the user profile. The method includes causing display of the subset of candidate cards within the content panel in accordance with the respective relatedness score for each card in the subset of candidate cards.

Abstract: A computer system may modify the user interactions by receiving, by a computer system, a sequence of image frames in a time period, from a camera application on a mobile device, wherein the time period starts before and ends after a shutter is activated on the camera application; monitoring, by a computer system, movement of the mobile device within the time period; calculating a movement score for a user of the mobile device, by analyzing the sequence of image frames and the movement of the mobile device; and using the movement score to modify the user's interaction with the mobile device interface.

Abstract: An embodiment facilitates user control of user interface layouts. A layout diagram visually and diagrammatically represents a current layout. The layout diagram includes layout diagram regions which correspond to user interface component regions in the current layout; the user interface component regions have user interface components as occupants. The embodiment gets a choice identifying a traveler component and a destination region, with the traveler component being an occupant of a source region. The embodiment modifies the current layout of the user interface to produce a modified layout in response to the choice, and updates the layout diagram to match the modified layout. Interaction is improved by diagrammatically showing the user the results of possible layout changes before performing any of them.
