Abstract: A method for use in a computing system, comprising: outputting, by the computing system, a product configuration menu that specifies a first set of product components; outputting, by the computing system, information associated with a first product, the first product including the first set of product components; detecting, by the computing system, a user input that specifies a second set of product components, the user input being received via the product configuration menu; selecting, by the computing system, a second product that includes the second set of product components, the second product being selected by performing a search of a product distance data structure to identify a plurality of candidate products that include the second set of product components, obtaining a respective product distance score for the first product and each of the plurality of candidate products, and selecting one of the candidate products as the second product.

Abstract: A labor marketplace exchange (LME) computing system and method are provided. The LME computing system communicates with communications devices of service providers and service users. The LME computing system receives service provider profile data from the service providers. Service users can submit service queries to the LME computing system. Based on the parameters of the service query, service providers are identified by the LME computing system. A service request is then sent to a service provider identified by the LME computing system and selected by the service user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing transactions are provided. An aspect of the transactions is executed with a third party transaction service provider that may indicate its aspect of the transaction was a failure when in fact it was successful. After conveying this failure to a user, the system subsequently learns that the aspect of the transaction was not a failure. The system attempts to associate such a transaction with another transaction based on a comparison between the transactions. Upon determining that there is an association between the second transaction and the first transaction, the system communicates to a user options for how to proceed with the first and second transactions. One of the options is to proceed with the original transaction. If the original transaction goes ahead, this saves system resources associated with cancelling the first transaction.

Abstract: A system for managing business to business communications may include an event generation unit configured to create a first event based on receiving a purchase order from a client. The system may also include an event detection unit in communication with the event generation unit, the event detection unit configured to detect the first event. The system may also include an action unit in communication with the event generation unit. The action unit may be configured to determine a first action to perform based on the detection of the first event, and perform the first action. The event generation unit may be further configured to create a second event based on the performance of the first action.

Abstract: Customer-device application sites (e.g., content presented via a progressive web applications) that are accessible via merchant-managed identifiers (e.g., identification codes) are described. An identification of a physical location associated with a merchant can be associated with an identification code. The identification code can be received from a computing device of a customer and, based at least in part on receiving the identification code, merchant data associated with the merchant can be caused to be presented via a web browser of the computing device of the customer. In an example, the merchant data can be presented via the web browser by a progressive web application downloaded onto the computing device of the customer via the web browser. An indication of an input received via the progressive web application can be received by the computing device of the customer and an operation based at least in part on the input can be performed.

Abstract: In one instance, a system includes a server in communication with a computing device and comprising at least one processor and an application executable by the at least one processor to, among other things, generate a first graphical user interface (GUI) for receiving designer information associated with a designer, generate a second graphical user interface for receiving design purchaser information associated with a design purchaser, receive from the designer one or more clothing designs in a digital format available for matching and purchase, and perform a fraud check of any design received from the designer. The application further stores meta data concerning the desired design, generates another graphical user interface that is accessed in response to an identifying code read by a smart device, and provides at least some of the stored meta data to the smart device in response to reading the identifying code.

Abstract: A basket-aware recommendation system can include a computing device configured to receive an indication of a navigation from a user device. The indication includes a user identifier and a set of basket items. The computing device is configured to generate a set of eligible items based on the set of basket items. The computing device is configured to generate a feature representation based on the corresponding item category count within the set of eligible items and select items of the set of eligible items within the corresponding item category. The computing device is configured to compute a number of category display items based on the potential click value and the normalized relevance value. The computing device is configured to transmit the number of category display items for each category of the set of item categories to the user device for display on a user interface.

Abstract: An item information providing method according to example embodiments may include checking a plurality of products corresponding to a search term received from a user who uses the service, and providing a first page that includes a first region in which a list of the plurality of products is displayed and a second region in which a filtering interface configured to filter the list of the plurality of products displayed in the first region according to a user's input is displayed.

Abstract: Techniques are described for determining a value metric for each of a plurality of payment cards, and recommending payment card(s) based on their respective value metrics. Implementations provide a recommendation engine that analyzes user data and card data, and recommends payment card(s) that may be suitable for a user. The engine consumes usage data and credit score and uses that information, along with characteristics of various available cards, to develop a value metric for each payment card that indicates how valuable owning the card would be to the particular user, such as how much money the user can expect to make or lose every year if they use the card as indicated, given the card's interest rate, rewards, fees, and so forth. The engine can rank the cards according to their value metrics, and the top-ranked card(s) are presented to the user as recommendations in a user interface.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, when a user creates a consignment issue item for a given product in a sales order, the system will reserve/temporarily allocate the available quantity in consignment stock. A synchronous call to lock the inventor makes a tentative update to the inventory stock on the quantity required for the request product on the created issue item. This update is tentative because the locked quantity should be released if the user decides not to save the document, but it also should be locked so that it is not available to another user who is also trying to create an issue item in a different sales order document for the same product in a parallel session. The allocation may also change several times before saving the document by additional synchronous calls that again update the tentative allocations. When the user finally decides the final state of the issue item, it asynchronously sends either a confirmation or compensate message based on whether the document was saved or not saved.

Abstract: A method is provided. The method includes receiving a device type identifier, network access data, and a user identifier that correspond to an order identifier from a terminal. An allocated device serial number corresponding to the order identifier is obtained, the device type identifier, the device serial number, the network access data being written into a customized controlled device. The customized controlled device that is identified by the allocated device serial number and the device type identifier is connected to. Abstract: According to various example embodiments, an information processing method of an electronic device may include acquiring information on a selection of a user for one or more items, confirming whether at least some of the one or more selected items are included in a specific category, confirming limited quantity information corresponding to the specific category based on a confirmation result, confirming purchase request quantity information based on the information on the selection of the user for the one or more items, confirming information of the user, and providing purchasable quantity information related to the one or more items to the user based on the limited quantity information and the information of the user.

Abstract: A system including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions that, when executed on the one or more processors, perform certain acts. The acts can include obtaining reorder likelihood scores for items that a user has ordered historically. The acts also can include grouping the items into groups using a taxonomy. The acts additionally can include adjusting the groups based on a respective number of items in each of the groups and a respective group-specific threshold for each of the groups. The acts further can include ranking the items within the groups based on the reorder likelihood scores. Other embodiments are described.

In addition to the information provided by the sellers to describe the items, interested buyers may also provide their own information to further describe the items for the benefit of the buyers.

Abstract: In one example, a content catalog system may process a bulk set of errors to prioritize those errors that may benefit from manual review by a human error administrator. A catalog quality management sub-system of the content catalog system may receive an error output describing a catalog error for a product aspect of a product in a content catalog from an error detection module. The catalog quality management sub-system may categorize the catalog error by a degree of human interaction with an error fix determined from an error metric in the error output. The catalog quality management sub-system may apply an error fix to the catalog error based on the degree of human interaction.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating a recommendation to alter the menu of a restaurant based on the transaction data associated with multiple merchants are described herein. In an example, a method generates one or more first representations of one or more items in the menu and comparing the one or more first representations with one or more candidate tags corresponding to generic names associated with menu items. Based on the similarity between the one or more first representations and the one or more candidate tags, the method identifies a portion of the one or more candidate tags. The method further determines that a first characteristic associated with the merchant corresponds to a second characteristic associated with multiple merchants and selects the multiple merchants based on the second characteristic. Based on transaction data associated with the multiple merchants, the method further generates a recommendation to alter the menu.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing blockchain-based trustable transaction services. One of the methods includes: storing order data of an order between a buyer and a seller on a blockchain of a blockchain network, the order data including one or more payment conditions, verifying that the buyer has a trustable automatic payment service guaranteed by a buyer financial institution, generating a smart contract for the order based on the order data on the blockchain, and executing the smart contract to automatically instruct the buyer financial institution to make a payment of the order for the buyer to the seller according to the trustable automatic payment service in response to determining that a payment condition for the payment specified in the smart contract is met based on order status data uploaded to the blockchain.

Abstract: Identity information can be stored in a decentralized structure. The identity information may include age verification information for the purchase or operation of certain tobacco products, such as an electronic nicotine delivery systems (“ENDS”) device, which may include aerosol delivery devices. The tobacco products or devices may have an age verification requirement or other identity requirements needed to authenticate a user and that information must be stored. A decentralized structure for storing the identity information may improve the security of that identity information while also providing a mechanism for accessing the information for verification or authentication purposes.
