Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating an explanation for a benefit qualification status change over different benefit qualification periods includes a computing device executing a benefit calculation engine. The benefit calculation engine operates on first and second benefit completeness graphs from respective first and second benefit qualification periods to perform first and second benefit qualification status determination. The first and second benefit completeness graphs each describe data dependent benefit qualification operations including a plurality of interconnecting functional nodes connected by one of a plurality of functions. The method also includes the computing device identifying the differences among nodes within the first benefit completeness graph and the second benefit completeness graph.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for providing a notice regarding a benefit qualification status change includes receiving a change in a qualification requirement for a benefit program. The method also includes obtaining a completeness graph corresponding to the benefit program. The method further includes modifying the completeness graph based on the received change in the qualification requirement for the benefit program. Moreover, the method includes obtaining a profile corresponding to an individual. In addition, the method includes obtaining a first qualification status relating to the individual's qualification for the benefit program before the received change in the qualification requirement for the benefit program. The method also includes determining a second qualification status by running the profile against the modified completeness graph.

Abstract: A control server controls an operator who provides an operational service on an operating system based on export control regulations. The control server stores therein operator information related to the operator and control information including a determination date that is a date when provision of the operational service is determined to comply with the export control regulations. The control server selects an operator who does not fall under the export control regulations, out of the operators, as an operator who provides the operational service, based on the control information and an effective date that is a date when the latest export control regulations become effective.

Abstract: A method for authenticating a user using a user device connected to a communications network, the method comprising an implicit phase, wherein said implicit phase comprises performing at least one task within a workflow, said at least one task necessary to move forward within said workflow; storing information associated with said performing of at least one task; comparing said stored information with a stored user profile; and determining whether said authentication of said user is successful or unsuccessful based on said comparing.

Abstract: An apparatus displaying a job screen indicating a job procedure, has a management unit that manages a job and a plurality of processes, a monitor unit that monitors an operation of an operator, a recorder unit that records an address of a job, an instructing unit that retrieves an address in response to a notification, determines whether to update the retrieved address in response to a type of a notified operation, and stores the updated address when the retrieved address has been updated, a storage unit that stores the job screen, and a control unit that reads the job screen and controls the read job screen, wherein the management unit retrieves the updated address, and instructs the display control unit to display the job screen, and wherein the display control unit reads out the instructed job screen.

Abstract: The system set forth herein relates to a network of a server, proctor device and user devices that connect to provide attendance information at a gathering location. The proctor may define an area that constitutes a meeting location for a particular time. Users may connect to a network to join the meeting and when the user is within the area at a particular time, the user can authorize the transmittal of information to alter the system that the user is present. The system is able to determine the proximity of the user to identify a present status without needing to store or transmit the user's actual location to the proctor and thereby maintain a level of anonymity for the user while still confirming the user's presence at the location.

Abstract: Systems and methods for predicting feature values in a matrix are disclosed. In example embodiments, a server accesses a matrix, the matrix having multiple dimensions, one dimension of the matrix representing features, and one dimension of the matrix representing entities. The server separates the matrix into multiple submatrices along a first dimension, each submatrix including all cells in the matrix for a set of values in the first dimension. The server provides the multiple submatrices to multiple machines. The server computes, using each machine, a correlation between values in at least one second dimension of the matrix and a value for a preselected feature in the matrix, the correlation being used to predict the value for the preselected feature based on other values along the at least one second dimension. The server provides an output representing the computed correlation.

Abstract: A device receives first transaction information associated with a first transaction, and a first transaction account utilized for the first transaction and associated with a first financial institution. The device determines, based on a fraud model, that the first transaction is to be denied due to potential fraud associated with the first transaction account and receives second transaction information associated with a second transaction, and a second transaction account utilized for the second transaction and associated with a second financial institution. The device processes the first transaction information and the second transaction information, with a matching model, to determine whether the first transaction information matches the second transaction information and determines that the first transaction was incorrectly denied when the first transaction information matches the second transaction information within a predetermined threshold.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a fraud detection system that stores fraud detection rules and merchant profiles. The fraud detection system allows a user to designate fraud detection rules as core fraud detection rules, and the fraud detection system can automatically populate new profiles with the user's core fraud detection rules.

Abstract: A device receives, from a transaction device, transaction data associated with a transaction of a user logged into the transaction device, and receives information indicating a selection of an abort transaction mechanism to cause the transaction to be canceled concurrently with the user being logged out of the transaction device. The device provides, to a user device associated with the user, a notification indicating that the transaction was canceled and that the user was logged out, and determines whether a response, indicating that the notification was received by the user and indicating a reason for utilizing the abort transaction mechanism, is received from the user device within a threshold period of time. The device provides an alert message to an emergency point of contact for the user when it is determined that the response is not received from the user device within the threshold period of time.

Abstract: A centralized web-based system and method for managing appointments having a user interface that interacts with one or more users to display one or more items based on user input, a management module connected to the user interface and configured to receive data related to scheduling an appointment, determine one or more possible appointments based on the data, present the one or more possible appointments, receive a user selection from the one or more possible appointments, and schedule the appointment based on the user selection, and one or more databases configured to store appointment information, wherein the one or more databases are connected to the management module and wherein the data comprises a date and time slot and at least one of a facility, a service, and a servicer.

Abstract: A method and computer system executes a home loss prevention simulation to provide a user with information on home loss prevention. The method and system may allow the user to select and place one or more home sensors on items and/or in locations within a simulated home environment. Once the user has finished selecting and placing the home sensors in the simulated home, the method and system may begin the home loss prevention simulation by applying different loss-related simulation scenarios to the simulated home. Based the different loss-related scenarios, the method and system may evaluate the placement of the home sensors in the simulated home to determine one or more losses (e.g., fire, water or burglary) and any associated financial costs. At the end of the simulation, the method and system may provide instructional information regarding the simulation results in order to educate the user on how to improve or optimize home loss prevention.

Abstract: An approach relating to providing a user an ability to place sites into multiple categories and providing applications an ability to query a configuration for members of the categories. The approach not only may provide a user an ability to easily create, deploy, modify and monitor a multi-site enterprise hundreds and thousands of remote building management system site controllers and allow the user to establish each site within the context of a single enterprise group, but it may also incorporate where the site controllers can be identified, sorted or managed within multiple categorical groupings. For example, categorical groupings may facilitate managing the configurations at the sites, applying an operational setting by selecting a logical category, applying common operating parameters to multiple sites, and so forth.

Abstract: A method and system for collaboration between users for editing and reviewing a live procedure flow comprising at least one decision step and at least one action step is disclosed. Each step is interconnected with at least one other step by at least one flow arrow indicating a direction of flow. There is disclosed a method of displaying a live version and an edited version of a procedure flow on a display device side-by-side and highlighting the edited portions in both the live version and an edited version while providing for synchronized scrolling of both versions. There is disclosed a method of navigating between procedure flows of a given procedure comprising rendering a graphical representation of a procedure flow, comprising steps, on a display, anchoring a hyperlink on one of the steps wherein when the hyperlink is selected, a sub procedure flow is displayed.

Abstract: A system includes a memory, a prediction engine, and an offer engine. The memory stores a plurality of salaries and an average salary for each age group. The prediction engine determines that a first user is of a first age that belongs in a first age group and predicts, based on the salaries for the users in a second age group different from the first age group, a percentage of the average salary for the second age group that the first user will make at a second age greater than the first age. The prediction engine also determines a probability that the first user will retire at the second age based on the predicted percentage. The offer engine determines an amount of money that will increase the determined probability above a threshold and displays the amount of money, the determined probability, and the predicted percentage.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems and computer implemented methods for generating a virtual or augmented reality-based oversight system of business processes at a location remote from where the business process is executed. In one example, system operations include identifying a process-based operation performed at a physical first location, where the operation is associated with a request for oversight from a remote second location. A current state of the operation at the first location is identified, and at least one input source at the first location is identified. A simulation of the current state of the operation at the first location incorporating input from the input source(s) is generated for presentation at the second location. An action performed at the first location in the current state of the operation is identified, and the second location is then transmitted a request to authorize the identified action.

Abstract: A method for creating an authentication tag includes receiving, at an authentication server, tagging device data and item data from a tagging device, authenticating, by the authentication server, the tagging device using the tagging device data, generating an authentication tag, and sending, by the authentication server, the authentication tag to the electronic device. The tagging device is affixed to an item, and the authentication tag comprises a digital signature provided by the authentication server.

Abstract: Methods and a system to provide telecommunications management services are provided. A method includes receiving a service request for change management or servicing a telecommunications equipment item, classifying the request to determine a policy associated with the request, determining customized workflows for executing the policy and servicing the request, identifying transactions required to service the request, and monitoring execution of the transactions until completion.
