Abstract: Methods and systems for providing cash using crowdsourcing are described. A requestor sends a request for cash, and the request is relayed to a plurality of lenders in the vicinity of the requestor. The requestor is matched with a lender based on certain criteria. After the exchange of cash is confirmed, the lender may be given a reward, such as cash, coupons, a good rating, and/or virtual points.

Abstract: A method for displaying a matrix of correlations or other statistical measures of co-movement associated with a plurality of financial instruments, portfolios, indices, or asset classes is disclosed. The method includes: converting the matrix of correlations or other co-movement measures into a probability transition matrix; defining a corresponding abstract distance measurement between any two of the plurality of financial instruments, portfolios, indices, or asset classes based on the probability transition matrix; assigning coordinates in a Euclidean space to each of the plurality of financial instruments, portfolios, indices, or asset classes, wherein a Euclidean distance between any two financial instruments, portfolios, indices, or asset classes in the Euclidean space corresponds to the corresponding abstract distance measurement; and displaying on a display device the plurality of financial instruments, portfolios, indices, or asset classes based on more significant dimensions of the Euclidean space.

Abstract: Techniques for displaying market depth information for a financial instrument including a plurality of bid and ask order metrics at corresponding prices of the market instrument and associated time information. A graphical representation of the market depth information, with axes corresponding to time and price, is aligned with color gradients corresponding to one or more metrics including, for example, bid and ask order volume, order count, or order consideration, generated based on the market depth information. The graphical representation of the market depth information and the color gradients are displayed using a display device.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to the use of loyalty accounts, private label payment accounts, and general payment accounts using an electronic device with an electronic wallet. Various accounts are linked to the electronic device. In some examples, the electronic device is NFC-enabled. The electronic device may be used to provide loyalty account information and payment account information to a payment terminal, such as an NFC-enabled payment terminal.

Abstract: Techniques for buy-side order matching in the trading of financial instruments using a centralized matching engine having one or more storage devices including rules and order parameters for a plurality of buy-side parties. The centralized matching engine includes one or more transmitters and receivers communicatively coupled to a network and one or more processors operatively coupled to the one or more storage devices and the one or more transmitters and receivers. At least one message sent over the network by a plurality of buy-side parties and is received by the central matching engine to set the rules or order parameters. At least one order of at least two of the plurality of buy-side parties is matched based on the rules and the order parameters. A message is transmitted over the network to a sell-side party indicating that trade negotiation can commence.

In one aspect, the operations may include receiving account status notification information for a first account associated with a user. The account status notification information may be generated based on one or more notification rules and account information associated with the first account.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing custom structured tags at a self-service terminal are disclosed. Custom structured tags received by a self-service terminal can include information to identify one or more devices attached to the terminal and identify one or more types of data to be obtained from a user by use of the attached devices. In some embodiments, a browser can natively interpret the custom structured tags. The self-service terminal can also be configured to receive and decode structured tags identifying or more actions to be performed by the device, such as printing a transaction record or dispensing currency.

Abstract: The methods described herein are suitable for use in explaining changes in the net federal tax between a current year and a preceding year (e.g., year-over-year changes). Thus, the methods have suitability for comparing taxes due amounts between different tax years as well as refund amounts between different tax years. The computing device presents to a user of the tax preparation software a multi-level data presentation of the reasons contributing to the differences in tax liability between a current year and a preceding year. In one aspect, the reasons may be expanded or collapsed to sure more or less detail depending on user preference.

Abstract: Credit utilization of a plurality of credit lines associated with a consumer may be stored and/or determined for multiple points in time. Credit utilization at each point in time may be used to indicate a relationship between a total credit limit and an available credit amount for respective credit lines at respective points in time. A computer system may determine one or more thresholds for respective credit lines, which may indicate levels at which a credit score of the consumer may be affected by credit utilization above the respective thresholds. The levels at which a credit score of the consumer may be affected may be determined based on information accessed from one or more credit bureaus and one or more credit score formulae used by the one or more credit bureaus.

Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a method for transferring a money amount by using a two-dimension image code. It provides that the registration of the transfer parties affected by a managing entity generates a two-dimension image code containing registration and security data. Moreover, the request of the recipient party to the paying party of the money amount occurs by a two-dimension image code generated on the display of a mobile phone of the recipient party; the payment order of the paying party to the managing entity to pay said money amount involves the capture of the two-dimension image code from the display of the recipient party and sending to the managing party an encrypted SMS message including the data, the reception of the encrypted the SMS message by a central server of the managing party, which forwards or not the request of authorization of payment of the money amount.
