Abstract: The invention concerns a hydraulic striking tool for application in rock and/or concrete cutting equipment containing a machine housing (100;200) with a cylinder (115;215) with a moveably mounted piston (145;245) which during operation performs a repetitive forward and backward movement relative to the machine housing (100;200) and directly or indirectly strike a rock and/or concrete cutting tool (155;255), and where the piston (145;245) includes a driving part (165;265) which separates a first (120;220) and a second (105;221) driving chamber formed between the piston (145;245) and the machine housing (100;200) and where these driving chambers are arranged to include a pressurized working fluid during operation. The total volume V of the first and second driving chambers is inversely proportional dimensioned to the square of a for the striking tool recommended maximal pressure p, as well as proportional, by a proportionality constant k within the interval 5.3-21.

Abstract: An endoscopic stapler comprises a first jaw and a second jaw. The first jaw includes structure for retaining a plurality of staples. The first jaw and second jaw are mounted to permit pivotal movement of the first and second jaws relative to one another. The endoscopic stapler also comprises at least one clamp member for clamping tissue and pulling the tissue into a position between the first jaw and the second jaw to facilitate inserting at least one staple of the plurality of staples into the tissue. A first handle is operably coupled with the first jaw such that movement of the first handle effects delivery of the at least one staple of the plurality of staples to the tissue. A second handle is operably coupled with the second jaw and the at least one clamp member such that movement of the second handle effects movement of the second jaw and movement of the at least one clamp member.

  • Patent number: 9566064
Abstract: A surgical stapling apparatus (stapler) is provided. The stapler includes a housing, elongated member, and a reload. A cartridge is configured to selectively couple to a first jaw member of the reload and includes one or more resilient members thereon. An anvil operably supported on a second jaw member of the reload is configured to compress one or more fasteners ejected from the cartridge. The anvil includes one or more locking members thereon. A knife is configured to translate through the cartridge and anvil when the first and second jaw members are in a closed configuration. Engagement between the knife and the resilient member(s) causes the resilient member(s) to move from an initial configuration that allows the knife to travel distally past the locking member(s) to a final configuration that allows the locking member(s) to engage the knife.

  • Patent number: 9403265
Abstract: An adapter for hands-free attachment of an installation clip to a commercially available power driving tool. The adapter has a frame and a magnetic element. The adapter is rigidly attachable to the nozzle of a power driving tool by mechanical forces, magnetic forces or a combination thereof. Once attached to the nozzle, the adapter allows attachment of an installation clip by magnetic forces generated by the magnetic element in a position for driving of an elongated securing member from the nozzle through an attachment hole in the clip. The force of the driven securing member overcomes the attractive magnetic forces and disengages the clip from the adapter.

  • Patent number: 9205548
Abstract: The impacting tool has a tool holder and a locking part. The locking part can be driven to move between the bit holding position, where it is engaged with the tool bit inserted into the bit inserting hole so that pullout is restrained, and a bit holding released position where the engagement is released and pullout is allowed. The locking part and the tool holder can be integrated with each other while moving in the longitudinal direction of the tool bit, so that they can be driven to move between the bit anchored position where the locking part is set at the bit holding position and the engagement state with respect to the tool bit is maintained, and the bit last connection/disconnection allowed position where the locking part is set at the bit holding released position and releasing of the engagement with respect to the hammer bit is allowed.
