  • Patent number: 11599857
Abstract: Technologies are described for categorization of time blocks in calendars. A time block to be categorized on a user's calendar may be determined based on a direct user input or inference from user history or behavior. Next, a category to be assigned, a beginning, and an end for the time block may be determined. The time block may be the same on all work days, different on each day, etc. One or more exceptions to be processed during the categorized time block may also be determined through direct user input or inference. Then, one or more rules associated with the assigned category restricting scheduling, of events on the user's calendar during the categorized time block may be implemented subject to the one or more exceptions.

  • Patent number: 11599839
Abstract: Systems and methods for limiting autonomous vehicle requests are provided. The method includes obtaining data indicative of a request for access to a software service for facilitating one or more transportation services. The method can include granting access to the software service based on a rate limit associated with the request and a request history. The rate limit can be associated with any combination of a vehicle provider determined based on the request, the software service for which access is requested, or current data. The rate limit can define a threshold number of requests over a period of time. The method can include determining the routing action for the request based on the rate limit and a request history associated the vehicle provider, the software service, or current data. The routing action can include granting access if the request history is less than the threshold number of requests.

  • Patent number: 11556883
Abstract: Techniques and system configurations for use of cached data to generate and present a schedule or other availability information for delivery and service scheduling of a product are disclosed herein. In an example, electronic operations used for offering cached availability information in a user interface include: obtaining service information to identify a service for a product (such as installation or removal) that can accompany, precede, or follow, delivery of a product; obtaining customer information to identify a geographic location to perform the service for the product; retrieving, from a cached data store, availability information to perform the service for the product based on the geographic location and the service information; and presenting the availability information to perform the service in association with the delivery of the product. With this technique, a calendar or schedule can be produced from cached data, without requiring multiple requests to a scheduling system.

  • Patent number: 11526853
Abstract: Techniques of configuring settings for automatic update of calendar items in an electronic calendar systems are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a server can receive and store update configuration records indicating that a change to a start date, start time, an end date, an end time, or location of a meeting would render a meeting update actionable. Upon receiving an incoming meeting update, the server can determine whether the incoming meeting update contains a change to one of a start date, start time, an end date, an end time or location. If true, the server can automatically modify, without any input from the recipient, a scheduled meeting appointment in the calendar folder of the recipient according to the received incoming meeting update.

  • Patent number: 11481705
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to automatically prioritizing predicted events in a dynamic predicted queueing profile (PQP) for a service provider (SP) for a finite future time period. In an illustrative example, a central orchestration engine (COE) may generate, in response to a request for service from a service seeking entity (SSE), a dynamic queueing event profile (DQEP) associating the SSE with the PQP for the SP at the future time period. The COE may, for example, generate a confidence level of execution (CLE) for each DQEP in the PQP based on a historical behavior profile (HBP) of the SP and of each corresponding SSE. The COE may, for example, apply the confidence level of execution to each corresponding DQEP to assign a priority in the PQP. Various embodiments may, for example, advantageously dynamically prioritize a queue based on historical behavior of an SP and SSEs in the queue.

  • Patent number: 11455646
Abstract: A ticket exchange server is configured to determine a number of tickets to distribute for an event. The ticket exchange server accesses, for a stadium, training data describing attendance at historical events, historical opponents of a sports team, and a historical win/loss record of the sports team. The ticket exchange server trains a machine-learned model configured to predict an attendance for a future event at the stadium based on an opponent of the sports team at the future event and a current or predicted win/loss record of the sports team. The ticket exchange server selects an event for the sports team against an opponent and determines a predicted attendance using the machine-learned model. The ticket exchange server identifies a number of tickets greater than a capacity of the stadium to make available based on the predicted attendance and distributes the number of tickets to prospective attendees.

  • Patent number: 11379860
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically determining an optimal baseline algorithm for calculating lift values are disclosed. The system receives data associated with a control strategy, and then randomly selects a control location, a time period, and an item that may not be associated with the control strategy but meets the one or more criteria of the control strategy such as relevance and sales volume. Using the randomly selected inputs and a plurality of null baselines values determined by a plurality of null baseline algorithms, the system iteratively calculates a plurality of null lift values for each of the applied plurality of null baselines values to determine a likelihood for a false positive lift for each of the applied plurality of null baselines values. An optimal baseline algorithm is selected from the plurality of null baselines algorithms based on their corresponding likelihood of false positive lifts.
