  • Patent number: 11694049
Abstract: A first computing device of a multi-part code system includes one or more optical scanners and a network application associated with a network computing device of the multi-part code system. The network application is operable to obtain a second portion of a code associated with a second computing device. The network computing device generated the code for an interaction between the first and second computing device. The network application is further operable to display the second portion of the code on a display area of an interactive display, receive a first portion of the code, and instruct a user to drag the first portion of the code to the display area to align with the second portion of the code. When the first and second portions of the code are aligned, the network application produces the code and sends a finalized interaction notification to the network computing device.

  • Patent number: 11663481
Abstract: The disclosure describes one or more implementations of a neural network architecture pruning system that automatically and progressively prunes neural networks. For instance, the neural network architecture pruning system can automatically reduce the size of an untrained or previously-trained neural network without reducing the accuracy of the neural network. For example, the neural network architecture pruning system jointly trains portions of a neural network while progressively pruning redundant subsets of the neural network at each training iteration. In many instances, the neural network architecture pruning system increases the accuracy of the neural network by progressively removing excess or redundant portions (e.g., channels or layers) of the neural network. Further, by removing portions of a neural network, the neural network architecture pruning system can increase the efficiency of the neural network.

  • Patent number: 11662230
Abstract: A recorder for documenting that a shaft in a rotating machine has been rotated while the rotating machine is stored or otherwise out of service. The recorder includes an elongated strip that is wound on a reel disposed adjacent the shaft. The reel is rotatable about an axle that is spaced away from the shaft. A free end of the strip is secured to an outer surface of the shaft and spools onto the shaft as the shaft is rotated, and which unwinds the strip from the reel. Markings are on the strip representing distance from the free end, which visually indicate occurrence and amount of shaft rotation. Types of markings include different colors or patterns, and which change at distances corresponding to shaft circumference. Alternatively, the markings are metered increments illustrating linear distance.

  • Patent number: 11630962
Abstract: This invention provides an aimer assembly for a vision system that is coaxial (on-axis) with the camera optical axis, thus providing an aligned aim point at a wide range of working distances. The aimer includes a projecting light element located aside the camera optical axis. The beam and received light from the imaged (illuminated) scene are selectively reflected or transmitted through a dichoric mirror assembly in a manner that permits the beam to be aligned with the optical axis and projected to the scene while only light from the scene is received by the sensor. The aimer beam and illuminator employ differing light wavelengths. In a further embodiment, an internal illuminator includes a plurality of light sources below the camera optical axis. Some of the light sources are covered by a prismatic structure for close distance, and other light sources are collimated, projecting over a longer distance.
