Abstract: A fabric treatment machine has a cabinet housing. A lid enables access inside the cabinet. Fabric treatment components such as a drum are positioned inside the cabinet housing. A panel on the cabinet housing includes an opening to receive the lid. At least one hinge spacer couples with the panel to receive a shaft of a slow close hinge on the lid. The at least one hinge spacer includes a socket portion and a flange portion. The socket portion inserts into an aperture in the panel. The socket portion includes a bore with at least one flat side to receive a mating shaft from the slow closing hinge. The hinge shaft has at least one flat surface. The flange portion covers the panel around the socket.

Abstract: An appliance includes an outer wrapper, an inner liner, a trim breaker having a channel that receives at least one of a wrapper edge of the outer wrapper and a liner edge of the inner liner, and a composite encapsulation system that hermetically seals an insulating cavity defined between the outer wrapper and the inner liner. The composite encapsulation system includes a base adhesive and an outer adhesive, wherein the base adhesive defines a structural adhesive component and the outer adhesive defines a sealing adhesive component.

Abstract: A system including a current-carrying wall member and a current collector. The wall member has a carrier plate, and has first polarity electrical conductor tracks and second polarity electrical conductor tracks. The first and second tracks are arranged alternately, and the first and second tracks are arranged on the front side of the carrier plate. The current collector has a plurality contact needles and is attached to the wall member where at least one of the needles contacts one of the first tracks and at least one other of the needles contacts one of the second tracks. The wall member has a first electrical terminal contact and a second electrical terminal contact, the first contact is electrically coupled to the first tracks, the second contact is electrically coupled to the second tracks, and the first contact and the second contact are on the back side of the carrier plate.
