  • Patent number: 11500353
Abstract: In a robot system, a data amount of operation information (log) to be transferred or recorded is reduced, thereby enabling the operation information (log) to be transferred or recorded with a low load. The system has a control unit for controlling the operation of a robot of a robot device and transfers a log regarding the robot operation to a managing terminal. While making the robot operative, the control unit generates log data regarding the robot operation and stores into a short-term storage log recording unit (temporary storage device) (log data generating step). When log transfer timing comes, a part of the log data stored in the recording unit (temporary storage device) is extracted and transferred as a log to a log storage device in accordance with the robot operation (log transferring step).

  • Patent number: 11458615
Abstract: Autonomous mobile robots may communicate with each other to avoid hazards, mitigate collisions, and facilitate the operation that they are intended for. To enhance such cooperation, it would be highly advantageous if each robot were able to determine which robot, among a plurality of other proximate robots, corresponds to each communication message. The specific identity of each robot is generally unknown to the other robots if a plurality of robots are in range. Systems and methods provided herein can enable robots and other equipped devices to determine the spatial location of each other robot in proximity, by detecting a pulsed localization signal emitted by each of the other robots. In addition, each robot can transmit a self-identifying code, synchronous with the emitted localization signal, so that other robots can associate the proper code with each robot. After such localization and identification, the robots can then cooperate more effectively in mitigating potential collisions.

  • Patent number: 11447224
Abstract: The position of a watercraft is detected by monitoring GPS position data, and the speed of the watercraft is reduced to a selected limit upon detecting that the watercraft has traveled outside of a selected boundary and is maintained until it is detected that the watercraft has been back within the boundary for a selected time interval, thereby avoiding up and down jerking motion of the watercraft which can occur when only a single location test is used to confirm that the watercraft is back in bounds. An RF transceiver and related control apparatus is employed for detecting other watercraft approaching too closely to the watercraft, and a display is provided for displaying various status and warning indications.
