  • Patent number: 8752604
Abstract: A nozzle for seating a tubeless tire on a rim using pressurized gas includes an outlet, a jet configured to accept pressurized gas and emit a stream of gas through an orifice into a chamber. As the stream of gas enters the chamber, the Venturi effect causes air to enter the chamber through air intake ports and the stream of gas and air from the air intake ports is blown out of the outlet of the nozzle. A system for seating a tubeless tire on a rim includes the nozzle, a tank and a valve configured to control the flow of pressurized gas from the tank to the nozzle. The tire may be seated on the rim by positioning the system so that the air from the nozzle blows into the tire between the bead of the tire and the rim if the valve is opened.

  • Patent number: 8739659
Abstract: A ratchet wrench includes a wrench body having a circular space defined at a head portion of the wrench body, a ratchet with a hollow center placed into the circular space. The ratchet is symmetric to the wrench body. The inner wall of the ratchet has a plurality of first ridges formed thereon. A first recess is formed between each of two adjacent first ridges. Each of the first recesses selectively has a second ridge formed thereon. A second recess is defined on the second ridge. The shape of the second recess is as same as the first recess. In this way, a user can directly alternate the big and small bolts in the ratchet wrench, rather than turn over the wrench to fit the big or small bolt.

  • Patent number: 8707831
Abstract: A dual-drive self-ratcheting device, that efficiently converts alternating clockwise and counterclockwise rotation applied to its input, into unidirectional rotation at its output, by employing a plurality of means, such as, but, not limited to, ratchet and pawls or roller-type clutch mechanisms, oriented the same and arranged in tandem, on a common drive shaft and caused to alternately drive the shaft continuously in either all clockwise or counterclockwise direction, as oscillatory motion is applied to its input; while the first ratchet and pawl or roller clutch mechanism is caused to impart motion onto a drive-shaft, the second ratchet and pawl or roller clutch mechanism is simultaneously caused to override the driveshaft; while the second ratchet and pawl or roller clutch mechanism is caused to impart motion onto a drive-shaft, the first ratchet and pawl or roller clutch mechanism is simultaneously caused to override the driveshaft; hence regardless of the direction of rotation applied to the input, the

  • Patent number: 8677868
Abstract: An attachment is mated to a power screwdriver by use of an adapter that is first fixed onto the screwdriver. The attachment includes an automatic fastener driver that receives a collated strip of fasteners, and drives them into a working surface. The attachment is mated to the adapter; the attachment contains a radial type of mechanical coupling that can be rotated without dismounting the attachment from the power screwdriver. In this manner, the angular orientation between the attachment and the power screwdriver can be changed “on the fly” by the user. This combination allows the user to keep his or her hands at their operating positions throughout this procedure, thereby allowing the user to re-commence using the combination tool quickly after readjusting the operating angle.
