The keys (28) and keyways (30) engage one another via a sliding action to form the body portion (11). A follower (32) is positioned between the first section (12) and the second section (20), a follower spring (34) is positioned between the first section (12) and the second section (20) and has a first end (36) in contact with the follower (32) and a second end (38) in contact with a floor plate (40) that seals a bottom (42) of the body portion (11) to form the box magazine (10).

Abstract: An ammunition magazine follower comprises a main bottom member defining an upper and lower surface. The upper surface comprises a substantially flat portion and a parallel ridge portion, where the flat and ridge portions are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the main bottom member. One or more guides are arranged on the lower surface for guiding the follower in the magazine. An urging member such as a spring, when installed in a magazine, urges the follower away from the magazine bottom. The guide comprises at least one end wall projecting perpendicularly away from the lower surface of the main bottom member. The end wall comprises a moveable tap, where the upper part of the tap is biased and projects partly above the upper surface of the main bottom member.
Abstract: To prevent inertial forces from inadvertently releasing the slide of a semi-automatic pistol into battery, a slide stop retention mechanism is mounted on the frame. A finger extends from the mechanism and pivots under the force of a biasing spring into engagement with the slide stop when the slide is in the open position. The finger supports the slide stop. A force applied to the slide stop, either manually or via a cam on the slide when the slide is pulled back and released, will move the finger out of its supporting position and allow the slide to move to battery.
Abstract: The invention relates to safety components/modifications for a firearm barrel for preventing discharge of live ammunition from the firearm. The invention includes one embodiment of a modified barrel including a rod member transversely positioned within a portion of the bore of the barrel adjacent to the chamber to prevent chambering or loading of a live round. The modified barrel further includes a standard blank-firing adapter (BFA) fixedly coupled to the distal or muzzle end of the barrel.

Abstract: A sight module includes a mounting base for detachably mounting on a firearm, a sight unit including a sight housing upwardly extended from the mounting base, a reflex sight including a light unit supported by the sight housing for generating a sight reticle, and a foldable lens movably coupled at the sight housing and being actuated to move between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the foldable lens is folded at the sight housing. Abstract: A modular rail assembly for supporting accessories upon a modular weapons platform. The modular rail assembly includes a fore rail preferably positioned above the foretube, and an aft rail preferably positioned above the receiver, which cooperate with one another to enable a modular system whereby one rail may be removed or replaced without affecting the other rail and any accessories mounted thereon. One rail defines a mating member and the other rail defines a mating channel for receipt of the mating member. Abstract: An air gun includes a compression tube defining a compression chamber. A gas spring assembly is disposed within the compression chamber, and includes a piston that defines an interior pressure chamber. The piston includes a latch bushing that is disposed adjacent a rearward end of the bushing. The latch bushing defines a central bore that extends along and is concentric with a longitudinal axis of the piston. A guide rod is slideably supported within the central bore of the latch bushing. The piston is axially moveable along the longitudinal axis relative to the guide rod, between a compressed position and an un-compressed position. The guide rod includes a first end that engages the trigger assembly in abutting engagement, and a second end that is disposed within the interior pressure chamber of the piston. The latch bushing includes a ledge for engaging a sear of the trigger assembly in latching engagement.

Abstract: An airsoft gun structure redesigns the conventional high-pressure toy gun to shunt high-pressure air flow during shooting. Therefore, the shunted high-pressure air flow simulates recoils as real bolt-action, single-shot rifles. Also, the ammunition supply includes different cartridges to select one of the supply-type by the users and whether shell case ejection or not. Abstract: The present invention provides a means for restricting access to the trigger guard enclosure of a long gun. The present invention enshrouds the perimeter of the trigger guard enclosure preventing access when not in use. When the weapon is in use, the present invention slides away from the trigger guard enclosure and secures as a handgrip for use while aiming and firing the weapon, all the while remaining permanently affixed to the weapon.

Abstract: An apparatus for facilitating rapid loading of cartridges into a firearm magazine includes a curved outer strip and a curved inner strip. The curved outer strip and the curved inner strip are adjacently connected to the each other, where the curved inner strip is positioned within the curved outer strip. Users can load rifle cartridges into a pair of recess tracks as the pair of recess tracks is formed by the curved outer strip and the curved inner strip. Then the rifle cartridges are manually loaded into the firearm magazine from the curved outer strip and the curved inner strip.
Abstract: A firearm includes a receiver and a bolt carrier disposed in the receiver. The bolt carrier is moveable between a firing position and a rearward position. A rod is fixed relative to the bolt carrier and a hand guard is coupled to the receiver about the rod. A handle assembly is slideably supported by the hand guard and is moveable toward the receiver to define a charging motion and away from the receiver to define a forward assist motion. The handle assembly receives the rod during both of the charging and forward assist motions. An arm is coupled to the base and is moveable between a disengaged position spaced from the rod and an engaged position abutting the rod. When the arm is in the engaged position, the handle assembly is moved to move the rod and the bolt carrier in either of the charging and the forward assist motions.
