  • Patent number: 11986162
Abstract: An endoscope comprises a handle and a shaft with an optical housing at the distal end of the shaft enclosing a camera sensor positioned so that its optical axis is at an angle with respect to a rotational axis of the shaft. The camera sensor is rotatable with the shaft relative to a proximal housing of the handle. A rotation sensor in the handle detects the rotational angle of the camera sensor with respect to the proximal housing. A processor can correct the angular orientation of an image from the image sensor, converting of a rotating variable field of view to a translating variable field of view. A processor can apply variable smoothing of the rotation of the displayed image so that smoothing during rotational deceleration is greater than smoothing during rotational acceleration. The shaft may be enclosed in a trocar that allows for a space between the shaft and trocar that can be used to carry irrigation fluid to or from a space at the end of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 11987160
Abstract: A crane includes a control interface to receive an operating instruction defining a target position, and a controller to determine movements of crane components and to generate driving instructions to be applied to a system of hydraulic actuators. The controller estimates a pressure level of a required working pressure of a hydraulic pump of each of the hydraulic actuators for the determined movements, and compares the estimated pressure levels and identifies the hydraulic actuators as a high pressure function, or as a low pressure function, based on the comparisons. The controller determines a time period during a movement from a current position to a target position, in which only the hydraulic actuators identified as a high pressure function or as a low pressure function is/are activated, and generates driving instructions for the hydraulic actuators to perform the determined movements, including activation of the determined hydraulic actuators during the time period.

  • Patent number: 11989378
Abstract: A passive pen for interaction with a touch screen, wherein the passive pen includes a housing, a conductive section, a fixed conductive z-direction mounting section coupled to the conductive section, a moveable conductive z-direction mounting section, a variable capacitor positioned between the fixed conductive z-direction mounting section and the moveable conductive z-direction mounting section, and a conductive tip coupled to the moveable conductive z-direction mounting section. When the user is in contact with the conductive section, a capacitive connection is established between the conductive section and the user's body. The variable capacitor has a compressive property. Pressure on the conductive tip creates a z-direction force operable to move the moveable conductive z-direction mounting section in the z-direction. Movement of the moveable conductive z-direction mounting section compresses the variable capacitor against the fixed conductive z-direction mounting section.

  • Patent number: 11988799
Abstract: A method and computing system is disclosed herein. The computing system receives, from a remote computing device, a set of production information for a plurality of plays from a region. The set of production information is directed to past production of the well. The computing system generates an input data set based on the set of production information. The input data set is generated by imputing missing production data to the production information and collapsing the data set into calendar days. The computing system fits one or more decline curves to the input data set. The computing system consolidates the one or more curves into a new data set. The computing system classifies the one or more curves by identifying a subset of wells in the new data set. The subset of wells includes a threshold amount of production information. The computing system delivers the classified results to the remote computing device.
