  • Patent number: 11970361
Abstract: A core for winding sheet material is proved. The core comprises a cylindrical tube having a longitudinally oriented slot formed therein, and a strip of soft material located in the slot. Because of the geometry of the slot and the strip, the strip may be softer (less compressed) in the central region but firmer where the core transitions from the relatively soft strip to the relatively hard tube. The leading edge of the sheet material imbeds itself into the soft central region of the strip as additional layers are wound around the core.

  • Patent number: 11958153
Abstract: In a method for operating a machine tool, a machine-specific flow resistance and a respective tool-specific flow resistance are ascertained for various tools. Tool-specific regulator parameters for regulating a pump of a coolant lubricant device are computed on the basis of the machine-specific flow resistance and the tool-specific flow resistance of the tool chucked in a tool spindle. Subsequently, the machine tool is operated using the tool-specific regulator parameters. In this way, a rapid and exact feed of coolant lubricant to the machining point of the respective chucked tool is enabled in a simple and flexible manner.

  • Patent number: 11952246
Abstract: Disclosed is a brake winch with reverse release and self-locking functions. The brake winch has a housing with first and second side walls, an accommodating space, and an auxiliary bracket part. A rotating disk is screwed in the accommodating space. A main shaft is screwed on one side of the rotating disk in an interlocking manner. A screw adapter is screwed on the second side wall, and includes an inner connection end that is assembled with the main shaft, and its external end has a threaded groove. The axial displacement of a driving screw, which is screwed on the auxiliary bracket, is matched with the difference of forward and reverse rotation to form a screwing transmission or release mode between the stud section and the thread groove. A friction driving mechanism must prompt the drive screw, the clamping plate and the screw adapter to be in a tightly synchronized state.

  • Patent number: 11945668
Abstract: This invention is for safely speeding up the rewinding of a strap used to secure cargo on a truck or trailer. The Tool consists of a shaft which in use extends into the inside of a conventional strap winch drum. At the end of the shaft is a cylindrical elastomeric plug which is a tight fit into the inside of the winding drum. The shaft is then connected to a rotary drive apparatus comprising a hand crank or is power driven. Because the tool can be simply pushed into the drum and operated without the requirement of alignment of the shaft, for a mechanical connection between the shaft and winch drum, the operator's hands need not be on the tool other than on the handle which is not above the drum. This is typically quicker and safer than the prior art.
