  • Patent number: 11636235
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and/or method is disclosed for designing a real-world space. For example, image data for an image of the space may be received. The image data may comprise a surface that is modifiable via an architectural material. Measuring rules for determining estimated real-world dimensions of the surface of the space may be executed. The measuring rules may be based on the received image data of the space. The estimated dimensions may comprise a length, width, and/or height of the surface of the space. A type and/or quantity of the architectural material for modifying the surface of the space may be determined based on the estimated dimensions of the surface of the space. A modified image of the space may be displayed in which the surface of the space is modified with the architectural material. The determined type and/or quantity of the architectural material may be displayed.

  • Patent number: 11630945
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for improving understanding of comments on collections of data. A social media stream is monitored for comments to a container (e.g., photo album) and elements within the container (e.g., photographs). These comments are stored in a data structure along with an identification of the container or element of the container upon which the comments are directed. In response to a user selecting to view comments to an element within the container or the container itself, the data structure is searched for the comments to the selected element or container. Images of the container are then displayed in a fliptych manner, where the selected element or container is displayed in the center section of the fliptych. A list of comments is displayed in a comments section below the fliptych, where the list of comments includes highlighted comments directed to the selected element or container.

  • Patent number: 11625147
Abstract: A system and method for displaying a combination of automation data collected from one or more assets and analog data collected from a system or element related to the assets can be simultaneously displayed on the display screen in a plurality of concurrently displayed cycle displays. In response to a user input to the display screen, the data display is dynamically manipulated to display varying numbers of operating cycles of the assets and the associated analog data collected in real time with the performance of the operating cycles, such that patterns and/or correlations between the analog data and automation data over a displayed timeline can be viewed and analyzed. The automation data is visually differentiated to indicate a condition state of the operating cycle and assets in real time.

  • Patent number: 11595511
Abstract: In aspects of adaptive grip suppression, a wireless device has a display screen with curved display edges to display a user interface associated with a device application, the user interface including a selectable element to initiate a device application action. The wireless device implements an adaptive control module to adaptively manage grip suppression in the curved display edges of the display screen, which limits the device application action from being initiated based on inadvertent touch inputs on the selectable element. The adaptive control module can determine that the selectable element of the user interface is displayed within a region of a curved display edge of the display screen, and decrease the grip suppression in the region of the curved display edge proximate the selectable element of the user interface.

  • Patent number: 11567636
Abstract: A load control system may be configured using a design (e.g., graphical user interface) software. The design software may display icons representing fixtures (e.g., lighting fixtures) and devices (e.g., load control devices, controls, sensors, etc.) on a canvas. The design software may define relationships between the fixtures and/or devices. The design software may provide load control templates defining collections of devices, for example, for particular rooms in a building. The templates may be quickly placed on the canvas to define a particular area. Fixtures may be added to a template on the canvas and the design software may automatically create relationships between the fixtures and the devices (e.g., load control devices) of the template. In addition, the design software may automatically create relationships between the devices of the template (e.g., between controls and load control devices).

  • Patent number: 11568110
Abstract: An industrial CAD system is supplemented with features that allow a developer to easily convert a mechanical CAD model of an automation system to a dynamic digital twin capable of simulation within a simulation platform, including simulation of fluid dynamics throughout the system. The features allow the user to label selected elements of a mechanical CAD drawing with “aspects” within the CAD environment, and to add fluid models representing fluids that travel through or are processed by the system. Based on these aspect labels and fluid models, the CAD platform transforms the mechanical CAD model into a dynamic digital twin that can be exported to a simulation and testing platform to facilitate simulation of both machine operation and fluid dynamics.
