  • Patent number: 11657917
Abstract: Implemented is a check-in application instantiated on a user's local computing device, adapted to receive user updates on their current mental health status. The check-in application invites users to check in as frequently as they'd like and provides a calendar with push notifications to serve as reminders for users to check in. Each check-in response is assessed to determine a mental health severity level for a given user, typically broken down into low, medium, and high severity levels. Each severity level is associated with a set of automated procedures that the check-in application initiates based on the detected severity level. An incentive-based award system is also utilized within the check-in application to encourage users to periodically and consistently use the application.

  • Patent number: 11657911
Abstract: A method and system of facilitating communication within a healthcare environment is disclosed. The healthcare environment has a directory of providers and a patient census system having patients and patient events. The method and system include a database server configured and arranged to receive and store patients and patient events from the patient census system and providers from the directory, the providers automatically mapped to patients based on predetermined criteria. Patient events are recorded in the patient census system and automatically pushed to the providers mapped to the respective patient in real-time. Preferably, the patient events are pushed to mobile device carried by providers, wirelessly and in real-time. Providers may manage, create and assign patient events via the mobile device, which assigned providers receive and may act on or complete.

  • Patent number: 11646119
Abstract: This disclosure relates to detecting visual findings in anatomical images. Methods comprise inputting anatomical images into a neural network to output a feature vector and computing an indication of visual findings being present in the images by a dense layer of the neural network that takes as input the feature vector and outputs an indication of whether each of the visual findings is present in the anatomical images. The neural network is trained on a training dataset including anatomical images, and labels associated with the anatomical images and each of the visual findings. The visual findings may be organised as a hierarchical ontology tree. The neural network may be trained by evaluating the performance of neural networks in detecting the visual findings and a negation pair class which comprises anatomical images where a first visual finding is identified in the absence of a second visual finding.

  • Patent number: 11631477
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to identifying and authenticating samples of biological material such as human tissue samples, especially when such samples are passed from one entity, institution or holding bank to another. In some aspects, a sample Exchange acts as a bio hub in a bio exchange environment, and receives biosamples and associated data from one or more sample collection entities. The Exchange generates and associates a trusted and unique genetic code (UGC) based on the genetic content of a sample, which is carried forward to subsequent sample users in a chain of transactions in said sample, securely identifying and authenticating a physical and digital asset to avoid mistake or fraud in the transfer of said assets.

  • Patent number: 11631486
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for optimizing short acting insulin medicament dosage timing relative to a meal event for a subject. Glucose measurements of the subject over a time course and the timing of the measurements are obtained. Meal events in the time course and information regarding when dosages were injected into the subject relative to the meal events is obtained. Bins, each for a different time range for when a dosage is injected relative to a meal event, are constructed. Each bin is assigned glucose measurements in one or more periods within the time course in which the subject injected the dosage within the time range associated with the bin. A glycaemic risk measure is determined for each bin with the assigned measurements and used to identify an optimal relative time range for the subject. This is communicated to a health care practitioner or to the subject.

  • Patent number: 11631491
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing healthcare treatment using closed-loop control are described. A method includes wirelessly receiving quality-of-care information from a patient mobile communication device, reporting the quality-of-care information to a quality tracking system, and receiving an incentive payment responsive to reporting the quality-of-care information to the quality tracking system. The quality-of-care information may relate to one or more quality-of-care indicators used to incentivize a provider or consumer of healthcare services. A patient may be alerted to the quality-of-care indicators for specific medical conditions. Personalized and specific notifications generated by an application residing in the patient's mobile device or running in the cloud may be communicated to the patient electronically, including prompts to the patient to take specific action in order to best manage a medical condition or prescribed treatment.

  • Patent number: 11610668
Abstract: An electronic prescription is obtained over a network. A synthetic prescription is generated from the electronic prescription and provided to an insurance switching system. Insurance information of a patient is received from the insurance switching system based on the synthetic prescription. An auto-reversal of the synthetic prescription with the insurance switching system is triggered. A patient payment amount associated with the particular pharmaceutical is determined based on the insurance information. One or more pharmacies to fulfill the electronic prescription are identified based on patient information. An interactive routing request data message is provided to the patient, the data message including the patient payment amount and a request for selection of a particular pharmacy of the one or more pharmacies. The selection of the particular pharmacy is received from a computing device associated with the patient.

  • Patent number: 11610658
Abstract: A variable dose dispensing system may include a processor and memory. The processor may receive a request for a variable dose order of a medication, such as from a user. The processor may request an amount of the medication to be administered, and receive, in response to the request, an indication of the amount to be administered. The processor may verify that the amount to be administered is within a range of the variable dose order. The processor may determine an item in a local inventory that contains at least the amount of the medication to be administered, and may dispense the item. If an amount of the dispensed item exceeds the amount to be administered, such as by a waste amount, the processor may display an indication of the waste amount to the user, and may transmit a notification of the waste amount, such as to a management server.

  • Patent number: 11607309
Abstract: Machine-learning techniques are used to train a classifier to predict auditory and language skills improvement in a patient who is a candidate for cochlear implantation (CI). One or more images of portions of the patient's brain are obtained, and quantitative data is extracted that represents the composition of one or more brain areas related to auditory and/or cognitive processing. For training of the classifier, data is obtained for previous CI patients whose improvement in language skills has been measured. Once trained, the classifier can be used to predict a likely degree of improvement in a prospective CI patient's auditory and language skills.

  • Patent number: 11600394
Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a healthcare system receives a request to initiate a chat in relation to a patient, identifies healthcare providers having responsibility for the patient, and provides a chat session with the identified healthcare providers as participants. Upon receiving a command (requesting information on the patient) during the chat session, the healthcare system retrieves an electronic medical record (EMR) of the patient and sends the EMR to the participants of the chat session. In one embodiment, the command does not specify the identifier of the patient in the chat session. In another embodiment, when an external EMR system maintains EMRs of the patient, the healthcare system retrieves the EMR of the patient from the EMR system without requiring the participant to manually authenticate after specifying the command. Accordingly, the healthcare system is configured to facilitate collaboration among healthcare providers.
