Abstract: Methods and systems for managing supply chains are disclosed. Replenishment of items within retail stores and distribution centers is optimized to respond to real-time demands. One method includes receiving demand signals corresponding to a sold inventory items and evaluating those demand signals against real-time inventory positions and demand forecasts for that particular inventory item to determine whether to replenish the inventory item and how much inventory to replenish. A router service for assessment of such demand signals is also disclosed.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and techniques are disclosed for selecting and dispatching a worker to assist a robot. The system may include a computer comprising a processor and a computer readable memory. The computer readable memory may include lists of worker criteria items for a plurality of workers and a list of assistance criteria items for a robot. The system may include a triggering application executable by the processor for identifying triggering data corresponding to a triggering item within sensor data from the robot. A ranking application may also be stored on the computer and may be executed in response to an identification of triggering data corresponding to the triggering item. The ranking application may be operable to cross-reference the worker criteria items on each of the first lists with the assistance criteria items on the second list and to generate a ranking of the plurality of workers based on the cross-referencing.

Abstract: Identifiers are provided within a user interface, where the identifiers correspond to a management of sorting operations for sorting parcels to be shipped. Some aspects include determining whether shipping information has been uploaded by a particular time. In response to the determining, some aspects include providing a first status indicator within a first view of the user interface. The first status indicator indicates whether one or more users have uploaded the shipping information to computing devices by the particular time.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating task reminders. The method includes identifying, using a processor, a task description by parsing digital text from a message in an application. The method further includes obtaining context information from the parsed digital text indicating an association between the task description and the application. The method additionally includes generating, using the processor, a task reminder based on the obtained context information, the task reminder including digital text indicating the association between the task description and the application.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for assigning a Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) credit to an affiliate based engagement. Affiliate marketers are assigned a monetary CLV credit for new customers driven to an online retailer website by the affiliate. A CLV credit is a monetary award calculated based on a determined CLV for the new customer. The CLV represents an expected net profit to the online retailer that is attributed to the future relationship with the new customer. To ensure that the customer drives the expected net profit, the CLV credit is assigned to the affiliate marketer based on the measured engagement of the new customer. For example, the affiliate marketer is initially assigned only a portion of the CLV credit and then assigned additional portions when the new customer's engagement meets predetermined milestones, such as the new customer making at least one purchase per quarter.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide a prosumer crypto social media and cross bridge service collaboration platform in a secure and trusted network based on crypto technology, which helps to manage information workflow, and improves collaboration between amateurs, knowledge workers and service providers. Digital transactions are enabled in a collaborative environment. Virtual information points are rendered in a mixed reality view. When selected, notifications based on the selected virtual information points are displayed. Search results are rendered graphically, and selection of related results can be achieved via user interaction with graphical elements. Emojis and D-emojis/D-emoticons are used to interact with network participants, enabling a new level of collaboration and feedback amongst the participants.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes: obtaining first environmental factor data of a first time period and first historical payment data of a target Internet of Things (IoT) device in the first time period, in which the first time period is before a first time point; obtaining second environmental factor data of a second time period that is after the first time point; and obtaining a prediction, using a neural network model, operating on at least one computing device, of an estimated statistical distribution of one or more users who execute transactions using the target IoT device in the second time period, in which the first environmental factor data, the first historical payment data, and the second environment factor data are inputs to the neural network model.

Abstract: A system may include sensors that acquire location information associated with the sensors and a processor that receives an indication that a disruptive event may occur in an area. The processor may then determine a number of individuals expected to be in the area when the disruptive event occurs based on the location information, such that the sensors are associated with one or more individuals that correspond to the number of individuals. The processor may then determine a set of supplies useful for each individual of the number of individuals, receive a list of products available at one or more organizations, apportion the list of products based on the set of supplies and the number of individuals, and send a notification to a computing device of each individual of the number of individuals indicating that the set of supplies is available.

The information processing apparatus transmits the baggage attribute information of baggage carried by the fellow passenger user included in the provisional combination and information inquiring whether or not to agree to the provisional combination to a terminal used by the driver user included in the provisional combination. Upon receiving information indicating agreement to the provisional combination from the terminal of the driver user, the information processing apparatus sets the provisional combination as an official combination.

Abstract: A system and method for analyzing reviews is disclosed herein. User-generated content (UGC) such as on-line reviews of products can be broken up in to different features of the products being reviewed. The UGC is analyzed to find each mention of each feature. Then each mention is analyzed to determine a polarity of each mention. The polarities are aggregated into an overall feature score that tallies the polarity across all reviews. Such a feature score can be calculated for each feature. Thereafter, the feature scores for each feature can be displayed to the user, along with the actual UGC used to determine the feature scores. The display can be in text form or graphical. Other embodiments are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for automated information retrieval based on supplier risk. In an embodiment, a selection of a supplier identifier value that identifies a supplier during a supplier onboarding process in an e-procurement system is received. A digital data repository of the e-procurement system is queried to seek a data record matching the selected supplier identifier value. In response to determining that the data repository has a record matching the selected supplier identifier value, a risk score value associated with the selected supplier identifier value is identified from a dataset of risk score values that is stored in the data repository. A unique mapping table is generated that maps each supplier risk score value of one or more supplier risk score values to one or more information request identifiers, the one or more supplier risk score values including the risk score value associated with the selected supplier identifier value.

The development interface component is configured for creating a workflow and storing the workflow in the development database. The control interface component is configured for selecting the workflow stored in the development database and storing a copy of the workflow in the operational database. The runner component is configured for receiving instructions from the control interface component to store a copy of the workflow stored in the operational database in a memory of a virtual computing device, and downloading the workflow in the second memory. The runner component is also configured for instructing the virtual computing device to execute the workflow in association with the target application.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates assigning ride requests to providers based on the probability that a provider will accept the request. For example, one or more embodiments identify a first provider to assign the ride request. The system then generates a probability of acceptance for that provider. The system then determines an estimated time-to-arrival for the first provider and an alternate estimated time-to-arrival associated with a re-assigned provider. Based on the acceptance probability, the estimated time-to-arrival, and the alternate estimated time-to-arrival, the system then determines an expected time-to-arrival associated with the first provider. The system assigns ride requests to providers based on optimizing the expected time-to-arrival across multiple potential providers for a ride request.

Abstract: An automated portfolio-rationalization module of an application-portfolio management system selects and applies a set of consolidation decisions in order to reduce complexity of and maximize return on investment of a portfolio of software applications. The system identifies consolidation decisions for each application based on that application's technical quality and business quality and computes the cost to apply each decision. The system then organizes nonconflicting subsets of these decisions into opportunities, where each opportunity contains a set of triplets that each identifies one of the decisions and its associated cost. Non-conflicting subsets of these opportunities are further combined into feasible opportunity sets. The system compares the returns on investment that would be generated by applying each of these opportunity sets to the portfolio.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system includes a processor(s) configuring a sensor(s) (first sensor(s)), to capture data related to an emotional state of an individual and a sensor(s) (second sensor(s)), to capture data related to an environment of the individual. The processor(s) obtains, over a pre-defined period of time, data from the sensors and utilizes data from the second sensor(s) to identify activities in which the individual participated. The processor(s) obtains, from a scheduling resource, a schedule of activities scheduled for the individual. The processor(s) generates a record for each activity. The processor(s) determines, based on data from the first sensor(s) and the record for each activity, emotional states of the individual throughout each activity of the identified activities. The processor(s) generates a rule representing relationships between events during each activity and emotional state of the participant and recommends a schedule of future activities.
