  • Patent number: 11706734
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system includes an interface and a communicatively coupled processor. The interface is configured to receive first future location information of a first user and receive second future location information of a second user. The processor is configured to determine that the first and second future location information each correspond to a future location and determine that a characteristic related to the first user corresponds to a preference related to the second user. In response to these determinations, the processor is configured to cause information to be presented to the second user, the information to be presented to the second user comprising the future location and that the first user and the second user have the future location in common.

  • Patent number: 11683266
Abstract: A system includes a host processor, which has a host memory and is coupled to store data in a non-volatile memory in accordance with a storage protocol. A network interface controller (NIC) receives data packets conveyed over a packet communication network from peer computers containing, in payloads of the data packets, data records that encode data in accordance with the storage protocol for storage in the non-volatile memory. The NIC processes the data records in the data packets that are received in order in each flow from a peer computer and extracts and writes the data to the host memory, and when a data packet arrives out of order, writes the data packet to the host memory without extracting the data and processes the data packets in the flow so as to recover context information for use in processing the data records in subsequent data packets in the flow.

  • Patent number: 11677874
Abstract: A device for providing a communication service is provided. The device receives an address for establishing a communication session. Environmental data from an environment of the device is collected. The device determines whether the address corresponds to a communication recipient for which the environmental data is to be sent to supplement the communication session. A request for the communication session is placed based on the address, and the communication session is established upon answer of the request. The environmental data is sent over the wireless network and to the communication recipient after establishing the communication session with the communication recipient and determining that the address corresponds to the communication recipient for which the environmental data is to be sent to supplement the communication service.

  • Patent number: 11652672
Abstract: A method and system to determine an adjusted guard interval duration associated with a wireless signal transmitted via a wireless communication link between a first network device and a second network device in a wireless network. The second network device receives a first wireless signal including a first duration of a guard interval from the first network device at a first time. The second network device determines, in view of the set of pilot symbols, a channel impulse response. A channel parameter value is determined based on the channel impulse response. An adjusted guard interval duration corresponding to the channel parameter value is established and used to estimate a second physical rate of the link. The second network device provides a communication identifying the adjusted guard interval duration to the first network device in response to determining the second physical rate is greater than the first physical rate.

  • Patent number: 11635482
Abstract: An interference detection system in a network identifies a first wireless station that has experienced radio frequency (RF) interference from an unknown source and identifies one or more second wireless stations that have experienced similar interference. A plurality of estimated interference source locations are scored based on a comparison of estimated interference to observed interference at the one or more second wireless stations. A predicted interference source location is identified based on the scored plurality of estimated interference source locations. It is determined whether the unknown interference source is a persistent interference source over a selected time period, wherein the predicted interference source location is identified for each interval in the selected time period.

  • Patent number: 11611923
Abstract: A cable communications network provides an alternative communications path between a user equipment device and a data network to a cellular path for a communications session with a desired level of Quality of Service. A cable modem termination system, coupled to a wireless core network, e.g., a 5G core network, interacts with the wireless core network to attempt to establish a PDU session for a UE with a desired QoS level. • Patent number: 11606128
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and systems are provided for transmission of a CSI report. A WTRU may receive an aperiodic CSI reporting request on a PDCCH. The WTRU may determine a time gap between a last symbol of the PDCCH of which the aperiodic CSI reporting request is received and a first uplink symbol of a designated uplink channel for transmission of a corresponding aperiodic CSI report. The determination of the time gap may include consideration of a timing advance value. A determination may be made as to whether a time threshold is shorter than the determined time gap. If the determined time gap is not shorter than the time threshold, the WTRU may transmit the CSI report. If the determined time gap is shorter than the threshold, the WTRU may not transmit the CSI report.
