Abstract: A decorating sheet comprises a transparent resin substrate sheet 1 and a glossy layer 2 laminated to the back surface of the transparent resin substrate sheet 1, and the front surface of the transparent resin substrate sheet 1 is divided into high-gloss portions H and low-gloss portions L. The transparent resin substrate sheet 1 is thick at the high-gloss portions and thin at the low-gloss portions, and, owing to these portions, the decorating sheet can provide a pattern that is visually sensed as if it were a three-dimensional pattern. This transparent resin substrate sheet 1 is composed of two layers, a crystalline resin layer 11 and a non-crystalline resin layer 12. A decorated molded product Pd can be obtained by laminating this decorating sheet to a resin molded product 5.
Abstract: An exterior surface covering has a colored outer layer that transmits infrared radiation and an inner layer with a thermochromic pigment that absorbs heat at low temperature and reflects at high temperatures. The outer layer conceals the color change of the thermochromic pigment.

Abstract: A saddle-shaped random packing element is provided with laterally spaced, arcuate side members and a plurality of inner and outer rib elements that extend from and between the side members to form an interior volume. At least one lesser rib element extends from the side members and is at least partially positioned within the interior volume so that at least about 20 percent of the surface area of the packing element is positioned within the interior volume.
Abstract: A stratified-structure laminar covering material, which can be used for example as a flooring for sports facilities, comprises an outermost layer, a bottom layer, and an intermediate layer set between the outermost layer and the bottom layer. The aforesaid layers comprise a matrix constituted by a mixture of polyolefin and thermoplastic elastomer, the matrix being substantially identical for all three layers. The matrix of the outermost layer is substantially free from fillers and has a first value of density. The bottom layer contains fillers so as to have a second value of density greater than said first value of density, and the intermediate layer contains fillers so as to have a third value of density intermediate between the first value of density of the outermost layer and the second value of density of the bottom layer.
