Abstract: A surfactant composition includes a surfactant component including an alcohol ethoxy sulfate having a C8-C20 backbone ethoxylated with from about 1 to about 10 moles of ethylene oxide and is present in an amount of from about 20 to about 80 weight percent actives. The surfactant composition also includes water present in a total amount of about 10 to about 35 weight percent. The surfactant composition further includes an alkyl alcohol present in an amount of from about 3 to about 10 weight percent. The surfactant composition also includes a glycol ether present in an amount of about 2 to about 20 weight percent. The surfactant composition has a viscosity of less than about 5,000 cps measured at 20° C.
Abstract: The invention discloses cleaning compositions which employ a synergistic combination of an ester solvent, preferably a fatty acid methyl ester in combination with one or more linear alkyl amines. The alkyl amines act as to remove and suspend organic oils which have been burnt or adhered to a surface with heat and may even be used alone as a soil removal agent. The cleaning compositions have particular use in cleaning of distillation towers associated with biofuel, and vegetable oil refining, but also find use in cleaning ovens, food cooking surfaces and even dry cleaning.

Abstract: Perfumed latex soap is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 2-5 parts of natural latex, 5-12 parts of glycerin, 8-10 parts of sodium dodecyl sulfate, 5-10 parts of coconut oil, 6-8 parts of palm oil, 1-3 parts of titanium dioxide, 0.8-1.2 parts of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid, 0.6-0.8 part of sulfur, and 0.8-1.0 part of radix asparagine essential oil. The perfumed latex soap is mild, safe, and non-irritating and has aroma of the natural latex. In addition, the added radix asparagine essential oil can effectively improve the skin condition of a human body without causing the human body to generate dependence. The temperature of the mixing tank in which the perfumed latex soup is prepared is convenient to adjust and materials in a mixing cylinder can be agitated and sheared during agitating, so that the materials are fully mixed and the quality of a product is improved.
Abstract: A bar soap composition is made from ingredients comprising: at least one cleanser chosen from soap and a first surfactant; and at least one taurate surfactant chosen from a salt of a fatty acid amide of taurine, a salt of a fatty acid amide of N-methyl taurine, and combinations thereof. The taurate surfactant is different than the first surfactant. The composition is in a solid bar form. Other personal care and home care products that include the taurate surfactants are also disclosed.

The glycerin and the C2-C3 monoalcohol are present in a glycerin to C2-C3 monoalcohol weight ratio of greater than about 0.6. If the solvent includes C2-C4 alkyl acetate then the concentration of C2-C4 alkyl acetate is less than 30% by weight. The composition further includes polyacrylamide and water. The concentration by weight of water in the composition is less than the concentration by weight of glycerin. Methods are also provided.
