Abstract: Collapsible containers and associated methods are disclosed herein. Certain aspects of the invention are directed toward a collapsible container assembly that includes a foldable support member that has a length and a width. The support member has a concave cross-section that causes the support member to resist bending until a threshold force is exceeded. The support member has a folded position and an extended position where the support member is unfolded. The assembly further includes at least one surface member carried by the support member. The assembly has a deployed position where the support member is in the extended position and the at least one surface member forms an enclosure with an interior. The assembly also has a collapsed position where the support member is in the folded position. The container assembly has less exterior volume in the collapsed position than in the deployed position.

Abstract: A litter bin includes a lid hingeably connected to a container. Opposite the hinge, a latch selectively secures the lid to the container. The latch includes a pivotably mounted latch member that has a center of gravity offset from its pivot point. The latch member also includes a catch portion that moves between a locked position and an unlocked position upon pivoting of the latch member. Because the center of gravity of the latch member is offset from the pivot point, tilting the litter bin causes pivoting of the latch member, thereby moving the catch portion from the locked position to the unlocked position.

Abstract: A beverage can end closure is provided which utilizes less material and has an improved internal buckle strength based on the geometric configuration of a chuck wall, inner panel wall and central panel, and a substantially linear chuck wall.
Abstract: An integral storage apparatus for containing multiple distinct fluids is disclosed. The integral storage apparatus comprises an outer spherical structure having a plurality of vents, a plurality of spherical layers inside the outer spherical structure, a plurality of tubings designed to insert into the plurality of vents and a capping vent capped onto each of the plurality of tubings. The plurality of vents protrudes from the outer spherical structure and the plurality of tubings is radially arranged on the outer spherical structure. The plurality of spherical layers has a concentric arrangement inside the outer spherical structure and each of the plurality of spherical layers includes at least one opening for receiving the plurality of tubings. The integral storage apparatus is adaptable to store multiple fluids thereby providing iterations of multiple fluids stored within to a user at the same time.
Abstract: A mask blank container adapted to house a mask blank with a resist film. The container comprises a container body 5 for receiving the mask blank; a cap member 6 to be put on the container body; and a fixing member 9 adapted to fix the container body and the cap member to each other when the cap member is put on the container body. The container body and the cap member have fitting portions 51 and 61 made of a resin material and fitted to each other, respectively. The fixing member comprises a first member 91 having an engaging portion 91 a to be engaged with the fitting portion of the cap member, and a second member 92 having an engaging portion 93 to be engaged with the fitting portion of the container body. A distance between the engaging portions of the first and the second members is desired to be variable.
Abstract: A tamper-evident closure may include a base, a lid, and a tamper-evident member. The tamper-evident member may be irreversibly moveable between a first position in which part of the member is visible prior to initial opening of the closure and a second position in which the part is masked by the lid so as to be partly hidden from view. Upon initial opening of the closure, the tamper-evident member may be moved from the first position to the second position.
Abstract: Food packages having features such as multiple containers in a single package and multiple pieces for a package, wherein the packages can contain multiple food products such as cereal and milk, but not necessarily cereal and milk, for consumption together in a convenient manner. One food package includes a lower container and an upper container, wherein the upper container includes an interior space that is defined by a three-dimensional bottom having at least one aperture, and sidewalls, with a reservoir formed in the three-dimensional bottom and including a volume at the bottom of the reservoir located below the at least one aperture.

Abstract: A metallic liner for a composite reinforced high pressure gas cylinder is composed of a seamless metal tube contoured with a top dome and bottom dome. The liner is further composed of a seamless top metal end cap having a mating shape of the top dome and a seamless bottom metal end cap having a mating shape of the bottom dome. Alternatively, an extruded cup is shaped to a dome at the open end and one or two seamless metal end caps are used. In the method of manufacturing, the top and bottom ends of the metal tube are contoured, the end caps are produced, and one or two end caps are attached to the ends of the tube.
Abstract: A system for aiding in drinking from a drink container is provided. The system includes a spring-style, flexible straw located inside a drink container such that when the container is closed the straw is compressed. A lever located on the exterior top portion of the container can be used to produce a circular orifice in the top of the container. When the container is opened via the circular orifice, the straw automatically extends through the orifice in the top of the container, thereby allowing a person to use the straw to drink the liquid in the container. Whereas the lower portion of the straw is spirally shaped like a spring mechanism, the upper portion of the straw is straight and an accordion mechanism is located at a base of the upper portion to allow the consumer to bend the straw when sipping from the straw.
Abstract: The purpose of the invention is to remove the excess air in an opened, partially used bottle containing effervescent beverages. Further use of the invention can be employed when viscous substances are contained. This is achieved by rotating a base of a bottle that is connected to a tab at the bottom of an inner bladder liner that is contained inside a bottle. The invention shows a bottle system for dispensing and maintaining effervescent beverages fresher for a longer period of time after a bottle has been opened. The bottle also improves the dispensing of thick substances found in many products that have viscous properties. The system offers a more efficient, easy solution for the dispensing of such substances from their containers by employing a collapsible inner bladder liner contained inside a bottle.
Abstract: A method for the filling and optionally emptying transport containers with plastics granular materials, in which a flexible plastics inliner is inserted into a transport container. A front side of the inliner includes at least one receiving flexible hose connection for filling the inliner with plastics granular material, at least one discharge hose connection for discharging blown in conveying air from the inliner, and at least one emptying hose connection for emptying plastics granular material from the inliner. The front side of the inliner also includes a protective liner. The cabin and the transport container are positioned at a decanting station, the cabin being adapted to transfer plastics granular material from the decanting station and decant the transferred plastics granular material into the transport container through the receiving hose connection. The transport container is then filled with plastics granular material utilizing the cabin.
Abstract: A preservation container cover includes a flexible film to contact with the rim of the container, an upper sealing ring, and a lower sealing ring affixing a periphery portion of the flexible film. The upper sealing ring has a ring slot extending along the periphery portion of the flexible film. The lower sealing ring comprises a ring plug along the periphery portion of the flexible film. The ring slot and the ring plug form a clamp structure to affix the flexible film. The present invention is convenient to use, adaptable to various containers of different types and sizes, and won't cause waste of natural resources and environment problems.
Abstract: A receptacle having a lid which has a pair of dampers configured to slow the movement of the lid from an open position toward a closed position. The dampers are provided at opposite ends of a pedal connected to the receptacle body at opposite lateral positions relative to a side of the receptacle body. The receptacle includes an air filtration device mounted in its lid which guides air through the filter device during the downward motion of the lid. The receptacle also includes at least one damper which provides dampening forces against the motion of the lid in both opening and closing directions. The receptacle also includes an anti-sliding device which increases the receptacle's resistance to sliding across a floor when a user steps on a pedal to actuate the lid.
Abstract: A padlock container assembly for packing and maintaining small articles is assembled primarily from a box container and a closure for closing the open top of the container. Buckle holes are disposed in the upper sidewall of the container that cooperate with elastic closure pieces disposed on a skirt of the closure to lock the closure the container. The closure has a sliding cover capable of being moved according to a predetermined path disposed on an external cover of the closure. A series of holes in the closure allows for various connection arrangements between closure parts. A hangtag extends upwardly from the external cover to allow the container assembly to be hanging and exhibiting.
