  • Patent number: 10071021
Abstract: Capsule filling systems and methods of using a capsule filling system to fill one or more capsules are described herein. An example embodiment of a capsule filling system comprises a first housing, a first rotatable member, a second housing, a second rotatable member, a hinge, and a base. The first housing defines a first housing cavity and the second housing defines a second housing cavity. The first rotatable member is disposed within the first housing cavity. The second rotatable member is disposed within the second housing cavity. Movement of the first rotatable member between its first and second positions provides a mechanism for releasably attaching a first member of a capsule to the capsule filling system. Movement of the second rotatable member between its first and second positions provides a mechanism for releasably attaching a second member of a capsule to the capsule filling system.

  • Patent number: 10039545
Abstract: A tool assembly for a surgical stapling instrument includes anvil and cartridge assemblies movable between open and closed positions. The cartridge assembly includes a cartridge body defining a tissue contact surface and rows of staples. The cartridge body defines a first firing channel associated with a first row of staples and a second firing channel associated with a second row of staples. A firing cam is positioned within the first firing channel and translates therethrough during a first axial translation to fire the first row of staples. The first firing cam is biased to move into the second firing channel upon retraction after the first axial translation such that the first firing cam translates through the second firing channel upon a second axial translation to fire the second row of staples.

  • Patent number: 9969510
Abstract: This manufacturing method for wrapped moldings (P) comprises a molding process for manufacturing the moldings (P) and a wrapping process for wrapping the moldings (P). The molding cycle from a mold-clamping step to the next mold-clamping step in the molding process is coordinated with the wrapping cycle from a moving step to the next moving step in the wrapping process by delaying the heating initiation time in the heating step, reducing the rate of temperature increase in the heating step, or prolonging the time for the drawing in the drawing step.

  • Patent number: 9957130
Abstract: A method for folding paper by means of a folding machine having a folding station, wherein a portion of a paper web (9) supplied to same is firstly folded in a first stack (10) containing continuous sheets and, after reaching a threshold value of the thus-created first stack (10), moved into a stacker (15) and thus remains in contact, via a folded stacking area (12) with a further portion of the paper web (9), wherein a section of the folded stacking area (12) serves as basis for a further subsequent stack of continuous sheets to be folded thereupon. Such method is intended to be developed such that only the smallest possible loops are required.

  • Patent number: 9926721
Abstract: This disclosure pertains to a post driver apparatus of simplified and compact construction. The apparatus can be easily attached to a vehicle equipped with a universal quick attach hitch and having auxiliary hydraulics, for example a farm or construction vehicle. The apparatus includes a hydraulic motor that is driven by the auxiliary hydraulics of the vehicle to which the apparatus is attached. The hydraulic motor rotates a drive wheel of the apparatus which is operatively connected with a weight piston of the apparatus. Rotation of the drive wheel lifts and then drops the weight piston on each rotation of the drive wheel. With the apparatus positioned on the top end of a post, each time the weight piston is dropped it impacts the top of the post and drives the post downwardly. The apparatus is equipped with a safety feature that prevents rotation of the drive wheel from operatively raising the weight piston until the apparatus is positioned on top of a post and exerts a force on the top end of the post.

  • Patent number: 9902516
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for making pouches providing a continuous web; folding the web to provide confronting side surfaces joined along a bottom edge; forming a vertical seal between the confronting side surfaces, thereby providing a series of adjacent pockets having opposite side walls with each pocket having an unsealed opening along a top edge; filling the pockets through the unsealed opening with material; sealing the unsealed opening. In the inventive method, which facilitates handling of the continuous web forming the pouches, the web is perforated by a perforation between a leading length piece of the web adapted to form a leading pocket and a trailing length piece of the web adapted to form a trailing pocket, and the distance between a trailing edge of the leading length piece and a leading edge of a trailing length piece is increased for tearing the leading and the trailing lengths pieces apart at the perforation.

  • Patent number: 9833889
Abstract: A nail-driving gun trigger assembly includes a hand-grip, a trigger piece, a safety latch and a release button. The safety latch is mounted on the trigger piece and is movable relative to the trigger piece. The release button is mounted on the trigger piece and is movable relative to the trigger piece. The release button and the safety latch are co-movable with the trigger piece relative to the hand-grip. The trigger piece is stopped from moving by engagement between the safety latch and the hand-grip. The release button is in sliding contact with the safety latch for disengaging the safety latch from the hand-grip and for permitting movement of the trigger piece relative to the hand-grip.
