The moving image control method includes: acquiring moving image position information indicating a position in a display region at which the moving image is displayed; acquiring fold state information indicating a fold state of the foldable display device; and controlling whether the moving image is stopped or reproduced in the display region based on the moving image position information and the fold state information.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to contact management and communication with contacts. On a portable electronic device having a display a plurality of affordances associated with a plurality of contacts are displayed. A first user input is received selecting a first affordance of the plurality of affordances for a first contact of the plurality of contacts. In response to receiving the first user input and in accordance with a determination that a first communication application is in a set of communication applications installed on the portable electronic device, a contact information interface is displayed for the first contact. The contact information interface includes a first contact identification field for the first contact. The first contact identification field is associated with the first contact and the first communication application.

Abstract: A method for generating a haptic feedback can be applied to a terminal, and include: in response to an interface element on a display interface of the terminal being touched, determining a first interface element type corresponding to the interface element, and determining a first haptic effect corresponding to the first interface element type based on a matchup between interface element types and haptic effects, where different interface element types correspond to different haptic effects; generating a haptic feedback of the first haptic effect.

Abstract: Systems and methods for populating answers to polling questions based on initial responses. A graphical user interface (GUI) is provided to a set of participants of a conference call. The GUI includes a first portion that presents a polling question to be answered by the set of participants. A detecting is made that a first participant of the set of participants has provided a verbal answer to the polling question. The GUI provided to a second participant of the set of participants is modified to present, in a second portion, a textual form of the verbal answer provided by the first participant and a GUI element that allows the second participant to provide a non-verbal answer to the polling question via selection of the GUI element associated with the verbal answer provided by the first participant.

Abstract: Systems and methods for software application usage detection on a user device and other computing device are disclosed. The software application usage detection is done by monitoring the network usage of the application or by usage recognition using methods provided by operating systems. The system identifies a set of applications and monitors their usage. The system is enabled to monitor the behaviors of users and control the same using smart rules set up based on user preferences to prevent over usage and usage in un-acceptable conditions.

Abstract: Systems and methods for proactively identifying user interface objects (e.g., internet links) directed to information of interest to the user and displaying the identified user interface objects in a user interface on an electronic device are disclosed herein. In one aspect, the method includes receive, via a user input device, a user input within a user interface of an internet browser application and displayed on the display of the electronic device; and in response to the user input, display, within the user interface, a first set of one or more user interface objects, each providing a suggested internet link obtained from one or more data sources, different than the internet browser application, on the electronic device.

Abstract: Ergonomic keyboard-less typing may be used to replace traditional typing on a computer keyboard. The user may use an alternative user interface device, such as a smart phone, a tablet, or a wearable device, to make character selections. One of a plurality of user contact types may be received from an input interface, to provide a first indication of the character inputs the user would like to select. A display menu, generated at least in part based on the contact type received, may then present a plurality of gesture types, and one or more characters corresponding to each of the plurality of gesture types. A second indication of one of the plurality of gesture types may be received at the input interface. A selection of one or more characters may then be displayed based on the received first indication and the received second indication.

Abstract: A computing device is coupled to a display device, and includes a data monitoring software application program executing on a processor within a data monitoring system. Via the data monitoring software application program, various techniques are performed for generating user interfaces for data monitoring and event response. In a first technique, the data monitoring software application program displays a user interface that includes a first region including a data visualization and a second region including one or more images of a video stream. In a second technique, the data monitoring software application program generates a user interface associated with an event, receive an input corresponding to interaction with a user interface element in the user interface, and initiates an event channel associated with the event in response to the input.
