Abstract: A liner for lining a receptacle has a front panel and a rear panel that define an interior and a top opening in fluid communication with the interior. A frangible sizing seal structure joins together the front and rear panels along the top of the liner adjacent a side of the liner. The sizing seal structure limits a size of the liner opening and is configured to be selectively broken to separate the front and rear panels to enlarge the size of the liner opening so that the top edge margin fits over a rim of the receptacle. In a method of making the liner, the front and rear panels are sealed together to form the frangible sizing seal structure.

Abstract: A package and method of making a package are provided, where the package includes a removable flap portion built into one panel and a resealable flap portion built into the opposing panel. The package is constructed such that the removable flap portion overlies the resealable flap portion, and peeling away of the removable flap portion reveals a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) of the resealable flap portion and also provides a tamper-evident feature. Once the removable flap portion is peeled away, the consumer can access the contents of the package. The resealable flap portion can be folded over the newly-cut edge of the opposing panel and applied to the outer surface of that panel so as to reclose the package and maintain the contents of the package therein for later consumption.

Abstract: A crate is described in the form of a flap-adhesively-bonded box composed of cardboard having a bottom (1) and a shell (2) protruding from the bottom (1), which forms reinforced upper longitudinal edge sections by way of edge flaps (8) folded inward between the shell corners. To provide advantageous design conditions, it is proposed that the shell (2) have, at least on one side of the shell corners, attachment flaps (10, 11, 26), which are each bent inward according to crease lines (12, 13, 27), which are outwardly offset in relation to the edge (14) of the reinforced longitudinal edge sections, by 90° and are adhesively bonded to the opposite side of the shell corner, and the bottom (1) be provided in the region of the shell corners with recesses (17) adapted to the outline shape of a catch attachment (15) formed by the attachment flaps (10, 11, 26).

Abstract: A shopping bag is provided that can be transformed for use as a file holder for storing documents and items such as a large envelope. The shopping bag includes a rectangle-shaped body part formed by a pair of front and back sheets, handles provided to the open side of the body, and a file part that is integrally formed with the body and that is turned into a rectangle-shaped file holder when separated from the body. The file part includes a separation line to be used for separating the file part from the body, a joint line formed inside of the separation line along the two sides of the separation line, at which the front and back sheets are joined together, and a cut-out part formed as a part of the separation line to be used as a starting point for separating the file part from the body.

Abstract: A storage bag includes at least one zipper profile provided adjacent to an opening to the interior of the bag. The at least one zipper profile has opposing closure elements that respectively interlock with each other. The storage bag also includes a slider with at least one opening member and at least one detent on at least one end of the bag. The at least one detent is configured to engage with the at least one opening member of the slider to provide a leak-proof end seal.

Abstract: A woven laminated plastic bag having a weakened portion is provided. The weakened portion is generally defined by a plurality of perforations in the bag. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from woven polypropylene and/or polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing.

Abstract: A self-closing utility bag for holding small articles includes a pouch with an upper pouch portion, a lower pouch portion, a neck portion between the upper and lower pouch portions, a top opening that is maintained in a partially open orientation, and a self-closing mechanism. The self-closing mechanism includes a first resilient strip disposed parallel to a pouch top opening at a location either adjacent the neck portion in the upper pouch portion but spaced from the pouch top opening or at the neck portion, and a second resilient strip disposed opposite the first resilient strip where the first and second resilient strips maintain the pouch in a closed orientation but having a resilient spring action that allows intruding access to an inside of the lower portion while returning to the closed orientation when the intruding access is removed.

Abstract: The present invention includes a reclosable bag having first and second walls and an open top defined by first and second elongate flexible fastener strips attached to the first and second walls, respectively, adjacent the top of the walls. One of the fastener strips has a profile portion forming at least one groove and the other fastener strip has a profile portion forming at least one rib with a portion of each rib received and retained in one of said grooves when the bag top is closed. Each of the fastener strips has a base connected to the respective wall, and each of the strips has an upper edge adjacent the upper edge of the other strip. Third and fourth fastener strips are located within the bag walls parallel to and below the first and second fastener strips. The third and fourth fattener strips have one or more pairs of ribs and grooves.

The first and second zipper strips form a first zipper and a second zipper that terminate in a first zipper termination and a second zipper termination, respectively. A respective pair of elongated projections is arranged on first and second sidewalls of the receptacle. A slider may be mounted to the closure, such that the elongated projections prevent further travel of the slider at opposing ends of the closure.
