  • Patent number: 11462089
Abstract: A method and system is disclosed that can automatically detect smoking conditions for industrial flares. It can analyze live or historical video images to identify smoking conditions and generate a “Smoke Level” value in the range of 0 to 10 to represent the seriousness of the smoking events. The Smoke Level data can be sent to the plant distributed control system (DCS) or other control devices so alarms can be generated and automatic or manual control actions can be taken to stop the flare from smoking quickly. The Smoke Level data can also be saved in historical files for reporting and smoke event tracking purposes. Using the described method and system, industrial plants can comply with EPA regulations at all times, improve flare control and monitoring, be better prepared for EPA reporting and auditing, and save energy and manpower.

  • Patent number: 11457608
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a feeding apparatus, which includes an ejection mechanism, a motion sensor and a control module. The ejection mechanism includes a motor unit and a push rod unit. When the motion sensor detects the movement of the push rod unit, the motion sensor sends a motion signal. The control module includes a driving unit and a timing unit. The driving unit drives the motor unit turning forward and turning reverse. The timing unit stores a predetermined time. When the timing unit receives an action signal, the timing unit starts timing and sends a forward signal to the driving unit to drive the motor unit turning forward. When the timing unit determines that it has exceeded the predetermined time without receiving the action signal, the timing unit sends a reverse signal to the driving unit to drive the motor unit turning reverse.

  • Patent number: 11457838
Abstract: Whether intervention is necessary is assessed due to an occurrence of a divergence of a current value of a predetermined index from a route corresponding to a transition in value of the predetermined index to a target value of the predetermined index for reaching a target relating to a body of a user (steps S141 to S147), and, when intervention is assessed to be necessary, using an intervention result per each of persons intervening relating to a target index stored in a storage unit, a person with a high contribution toward reaching the target from among persons intervening for the user is determined (steps S151 and S152), and processing for prompting the determined person for intervention is executed (step S155). A timing with a high contribution is determined using an intervention result stored in the storage unit that further stores intervention results per each intervention timing relating to a target index.

  • Patent number: 11454586
Abstract: Detecting a breakover event during a friction test includes obtaining a hookload measurement for each of a series of time windows and generating a linear model and a nonlinear model from the plurality of hookload measurements. During run time, from the nonlinear model, an inflection point is identified from the nonlinear model, where the inflection point is determined to have occurred at a particular time window. A hookload value associated with the linear model, and a hookload value associated with the nonlinear model is determined for the particular time window. A breakover event is determined to have occurred at the particular time when the hookload value associated with the linear model at the particular time window exceeds the hookload value associated with the nonlinear model at the particular time window.
