Abstract: Systems and methods of conducting a fantasy sport contest are disclosed. According to some embodiments, the fantasy sport contest is provided for participants to join. The fantasy sport contest includes one or more fantasy teams where each fantasy team includes a multiplicity of real-life players. A player adjustment value (PAV) is determined for each of the real-life players. Accumulated statistics of the real-life player during real-life games are converted into a baseline fantasy score according to a baseline scoring system. The baseline fantasy score is adjusted according to the real-life player's PAV to produce an adjusted fantasy score of the real-life player.

Abstract: A non-limiting example game system includes a main body apparatus, and this main body apparatus is provided attachably and detachably with a left controller and a right controller. In a first operation mode, a movement and an action of a player character are controlled according to an operation of a player. In a second operation mode, an offensive character is made to appear, and a movement and an action of the offensive character are controlled according to an operation of the player. Therefore, the movement of the player character is restricted in the second operation mode. A direction and a position of a virtual camera are controlled so as to follow the player character in the first operation mode and to respectively capture the player character and the offensive character in the second operation mode.

The method continues by determining a particular position of the particular race participant at each of a plurality of intermediate points within the race event. The method continues by determining a plurality of simulated playing cards based at least in part upon the determined positions of the particular race participant. The method concludes by determining an outcome of a game based at least in part upon the determined simulated playing cards.

Abstract: A system for managing bets comprises a memory and a processor. The memory stores one or more first type of bets and one or more second types of bets. Each first type of bet is associated with a bet amount and comprises a bet that a participant selected from a set of participants in an event will finish in a predetermined subset of finishing positions associated with the event. Each second type of bet is associated with a bet amount and comprises a bet that the selected participant will not finish in the predetermined subset of finishing positions associated with the event. Abstract: Disclosed is a braille display that is impact resistant and that employs a modular construction. The impact resistance is achieved, in part, by molded and resilient end caps. Each end cap includes a centrally positioned slit that functions in absorbing lateral impacts to the display. The impact resistance is further achieved by an over molded housing that is positioned about an associated USB connector. The modularity of the display is achieved by way of a subassembly that is releasably secured within the interior of a main housing. The subassembly, in turn, includes a series of cell compartments that are arranged in groups. Each group of cell compartments is controlled by an individual shift register. This allows a grouping cell compartments to be removed and replaced as needed without disturbing the remaining cell components.

Placement of relocation objects throughout the virtual world enable a large virtual world to be implemented using a small finite sized physical room.
