  • Patent number: 9948024
Abstract: A protecting cap structure of a charging gun has a cover, a push plate, a fixing seat, at least one first resilient element, and a gland. The push plate is moveably mounted in a containing groove of the cover. The fixing seat, the first resilient element, and the gland are mounted in the containing groove. The first resilient element and the gland are respectively mounted on both sides of the push plate, and the first resilient element abuts and pushes the front side of the push plate. The protecting cap structure not only improves water resistance and dust resistance by the gland which is propped by the resilient element when the cover covers the plug of the charging gun, but also is easy to use because the resilient elements push forward the cover when the cover is to be removed.

  • Patent number: 9929477
Abstract: A torque limited screw is used to secure a conductor to an electrical connector. The screw has a torque limiting feature between a head and a body of the screw which must be overcome by force to break the head free from the screw body. The screw assembly includes a threaded body configured to be releasably coupled to a coupling portion of the connector. A head of the screw assembly is joined to the body via a neck portion which under a specified torque applied to the head fractures to break the head away from the body seated in the connector and securing the conductor. In one embodiment, the screw includes a plate spaced from and coupled to the threaded body for contacting the conductor. The plate is rotatable relative to the threaded body when the threaded body is coupled to the coupling portion of the connector.

  • Patent number: 9837954
Abstract: In various representative aspects, an assembly for connecting and electrically bonding two solar panel rail guides is provided. More specifically, the assembly provides a novel and improved inner rail used as a splice that slides within the two solar panel rail guides and includes a serrated screw that is pre-installed within the splice. When installed, the two rail guides are brought together along the splice and meet at the point where the screw is located, the screw can then be tightened so that the serrations penetrate surface treatment layers on each of the rail guides so that the solar panel rail guides are secured and electrically coupled to each other. An alternate embodiment utilizes the inner splice to join two solar panel rail guides by sliding the splice within the inner contour of two solar panel rail guides, and utilizing a pair of bonding pins to electrically bond the splice and the two solar panel rail guides.
