Abstract: A multimedia patching box including a generally rectangular housing. The housing includes a first wall positioned opposite from a second wall. The housing also includes opposing third and fourth walls that extend between the first and second walls. A panel is mounted adjacent the front of the housing. The panel is mounted to pivot about a pivot axis between an open position and a closed position. The pivot axis is located adjacent to the third wall of the housing and extends generally along the third wall of the housing. A plurality of multimedia connectors are mounted on the panel. The housing defines at least one cable access opening defined through at least one of the first and second walls at a location adjacent the third wall. A cable management structure is connected to the back side of the panel. The cable management structure defines a cable guiding channel that extends generally along the pivot axis of the panel and generally aligns with the at least one cable access opening.

Abstract: An electroacoustic capsule or electroacoustic transducer for an electroacoustic device has electrostrictive or magnetostrictive elements connected to a controllable power supply. Dimensional changes of the electrostrictive or magnetostrictive elements cause changes of the inner geometry of the electroacoustic capsule or electroacoustic transducer. This allows the adjustment of the capsule or transducer to the electroacoustic device in which it is mounted so that individual and dynamic adjustments are possible.

Abstract: This invention provides a method of manufacturing speaker diaphragm for a loudspeaker that has a composite material formed of two layers of ceramic material separated by a light metal substrate and where the core is formed by stamping a sheet of standard gauge aluminum to form a speaker core and then deep anodizing the core to obtain a ceramic layer of alumina on each surface (Al2O3) that is at least about 1 mil. thick. The invention further provides for a loudspeaker diaphragm, where the diaphragm is a composite material formed of at least two layers of ceramic material having a metal substrate therebetween and where the thickness of the metal substrate is no more than 86% of the thickness of the composite material.

Abstract: A mounting device for electronic accessories for vehicles has a mounting having a shape matched to the shape of an accessory to be received. A mechanical lock is connected to the mounting. The lock has a locking bar that engages a housing recess in the form of a groove or a housing edge of the accessory received in the mounting. The lock has a key for manual actuation of the lock by rotating the key in the lock and moving the locking bar in and out of engagement of the housing recess or the housing edge.
