  • Patent number: 11669299
Abstract: Example techniques relate to changing a playback device mode based on a device base. In an example implementation, a first playback device operates in a first mode where it is connected to a first network and plays back audio content while in the first mode. The playback device detects connection of the first playback device to a device base and while the first playback device is on the device base, detects connection to a second network. The first playback device switches from operating in the first mode to operating in a second mode. The first playback device forms a stereo pair configuration with a second playback device over the second network in the second mode. While in the second mode, the first playback device plays back a first channel of audio content in synchrony with the second playback device playing back a second channel of the audio content.

  • Patent number: 11658888
Abstract: A network timing view provides enhanced visualization for synch timing in support of mobile (4G/5G deployments) and others requiring sync. It allows network managers to view relevant synch data both textually and graphically displayed on the network map nodes and links in a unified view. The user is able to select the appropriate filter on the network map to show the 1588/SyncE connectivity and relevant nodes that are participating in delivering timing. It allows a user to trace the timing path from any timing device upstream to the clock source. It also allows the user to interactively discover and navigate downstream timing paths from any timing device, similar to exploring a tree hierarchy. The timing topology and path data provided allows a user to investigate the timing network for troubleshooting purposes such as timing alarms and events, sync problems, clock quality levels and clock states.

  • Patent number: 11606409
Abstract: Provided is a method and system for a network-assisted Quality of Experience (QoE)-based smart and proactive video streaming framework to be deployed at Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) servers. Quality of Experience (QoE) levels for a plurality of video sessions streamed from a cloud server to computing devices through a central edge server are estimated based on one or more metrics associated with the plurality of video sessions. Additionally, channel status of one or more neighboring edge servers proximate to the central edge server is determined. The QoE levels of the plurality of video sessions are then maximized based on the estimating, by employing a local optimization, a global optimization and a combination of both the local optimization and the global optimization based on the one or more metrics and the channel status determined for the one or more neighboring edge servers.

  • Patent number: 11553005
Abstract: Policy deviations for distributed computing environments are detected and recorded an immutable ledger of transaction provenance from end to end transactions performed in the distributed computing environment. From the immutable ledger, persona data for transaction types is plotted as an bipartite graph. Edge weights of the bipartite graphs are correlated to trust levels between personas from the persona data and the transaction types from the immutable ledger. Trust levels from the edge weights are correlated to rules illustrating when the transaction provenance indicate a policy deviation in the distributed computing environment. The rules are then employed to detect in real time end to end provenance when a policy deviation in the distributed computing environment is occurring. An alert of policy deviations may be sent to stakeholders for the distributed computing environment.

  • Patent number: 11539815
Abstract: A method for managing systems with interrelated microservices with self-assembling and self-configuring microservices includes receiving at a first micro service a service request from a client. A determination is the made whether the first micro service is capable of processing the service request. If the first micro service is capable of processing the service requests, then processing the service request; if the first micro service cannot process the service request then routing the service request to a first stem service. The first stem service determines whether there is a second micro service that can process the service request. If the second micro service that can process the service requests exists, then forwarding the service request to the second micro service for processing. If there is no second micro service that can service the service requests then morphing the first stem service into a micro service that can service the service request.
