    Abstract: The present invention provides a hollow golf club head comprising a metal striking insert and a composite body. The metal striking insert (1) is molding within the front face wall (2) of the club head body and is securely attached at the outside perimeter of the insert to the composite body and at the front corners of the composite body through the use of a sandwiched structure (7,8, &9). The sandwich structure formed at the boundaries of the striking metal insert efficiently dissipates the impact energy affected when a golf ball is hit. The structure also dampens efficiently the vibrations of the shock affected when the ball is hit on the metal striking insert. The present invention of positioning the insert inside the face wall, not extending outside the face wall, uses less metal material which is heavier than the composite material and makes a larger club head at the same total weight of the club head.

The lace system includes specially shaped, sized, and positioned thong holes in the stop member of a lacrosse head, and a lace lock attached to the lacrosse stick below the thong holes. The thong holes in the stop member are not lined up in a straight line, are non-circular in shape, and are slightly smaller than the size of the thongs. The lace lock includes channeling holes and/or channels that align and compress the thongs, ridges that grip the thongs, a compression strap that locks the thongs tightly against the ridges, and a means for attaching the lace lock to the lacrosse stick.

The end extremities of both the putter heel and toe are curved with a complex and unique geometric curvature. Vertical, tapped, chamfered bores are defined in both the putter toe and the putter heel to receive externally threaded inserts. The inserts may be hollow so as to accommodate a variable number of disc-shaped weights, the number of which is individually selected by each golfer. Alternatively, the inserts may be solid structures of a weight suitable to the individual golfer.
