  • Patent number: 11160708
Abstract: The invention provides an electronically control motorized lifting device for transfer of a paraplegic between seated positions. A post extends from a wheeled base and movably supports a head for upwards and downwards movement. A lifting arm arrangement is pivotably secured to the head. The head is also rotatable about the post and the base movable between an expanded stabilizing condition and a retracted condition. The latter condition allows the lifting device to fit through a standard width doorway. Movement of the base between these conditions is effected by pivoting of the lifting arm arrangement into and out of a lateral supporting position. The base preferably includes five legs extending substantially radially from the post with two of the legs foldable towards adjacent legs.

  • Patent number: 11154440
Abstract: A patient litter basket spin control assembly for use on a patient litter basket is provided. The assembly comprises thruster unit for discharging an air stream and is mounted on the patient litter basket. At least one sensor is associated with the thruster unit for sensing rotational movement or spin of the patient litter basket, and a power source is provided for powering the thruster unit and the sensor. A clamp member mounts on the patient litter basket and releasably receives the thruster unit. The sensors modulate the force of the air stream from the thruster unit so that the air stream counters the rotational movement of the patient litter basket to stabilize the patient litter basket by preventing the spin.

  • Patent number: 11154447
Abstract: A support device provides elevation and support for a patient's foot, including ankle and heal, and limits lateral and medial rotation of the foot. This protects the knee from injury while healing. The device includes a generally flat main body, two spaced-apart lateral ridges, and a medial depression between the lateral ridges that provides a support surface on which the foot may be positioned. The lateral ridges can extend to a height above the support surface so that inner side surfaces of the lateral ridges are adjacent to a majority of a foot placed in the medial depression. The lateral ridges can terminate below a top of the foot to permit unrestricted ventilation and access to the foot. The lateral ridges can be spaced apart to facilitate placement of a foot onto and removal of the foot from the support surface without manual manipulation of the device.

  • Patent number: 11076702
Abstract: Disclosed is an easy-assembling folding bed, comprising a bed surface, bed side rods, and a footing component; the rods are disposed in parallel, the footing component is arranged in multiple groups, uniformly disposed and is engaged with the rods; the footing component comprises first and second components. The invention has simple structure, less materials, lighter weight and is convenient to carry. By rotating the second C-shaped engaging piece, the distance between the first and second C-shaped engaging pieces is changed, so the surface is tightened. The locking hook can automatically hook the locking fixing piece and lock it by the reset torsional spring, so the consumer can tighten and lock the surface. By twisting the hook to overcome the torsion of the spring and then rotating, the hook and the fixing piece are disengaged, and the footing component can be easily removed and folded to reduce the packaging volume.
