  • Patent number: 11521338
Abstract: Generating a work-flow diagram from technology specific literature includes using an analysis of technology specific literature which includes using natural language processing (NLP), to derive semantics for a plurality of components defined in the technology specific literature. The plurality of components are associated to symbols in a component symbol database. The associated symbols are assigned to each of the plurality of components, respectively. A relationship is determined for each of the plurality of components. Nodes are assigned, and vectors are assigned when applicable, for each of the symbols. A work-flow diagram is generated for the technology specific literature using the assigned associated symbols for each of the plurality of components and the nodes and the vectors for each of the symbols.

  • Patent number: 11521342
Abstract: A processor receives a request to access one or more levels of a partially resident texture (PRT) resource. The levels represent a texture at different levels of detail (LOD) and the request includes normalized coordinates indicating a location in the texture. The processor accesses a texture descriptor that includes dimensions of a first level of the levels and one or more offsets between a reference level and one or more second levels that are associated with one or more residency maps that indicate texels that are resident in the PRT resource. The processor translates the normalized coordinates to texel coordinates in the one or more residency maps based on the offset and accesses, in response to the request, the one or more residency maps based on the texel coordinates to determine whether texture data indicated by the normalized coordinates is resident in the PRT resource.

  • Patent number: 11507424
Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for optimization of resource usage in cross-reality sessions. A computer can receive a request for a cross-reality session, determine entities to be included in the cross-reality session, and optimize resource usage during the cross-reality session. Optimized cross-reality session data can be provided to a device to generate a cross-reality environment that can include the one entity of the entities rendered in the first level of detail. Attention data that can describe interactions in the cross-reality environment can be obtained. The resource usage can be re-optimized based on the attention data. Re-optimizing the resource usage can include determining that the one entity of the entities is to be rendered in a second level of detail that is greater than the first level of detail. An update can be delivered to the device, which can use the update to update the cross-reality environment.

  • Patent number: 11494880
Abstract: Embodiments relate to generating an image pyramid for feature extraction. A pyramid image generator circuit includes a first image buffer that stores image data at a first octave, a first blur filter circuit, a first spatial filter circuit, and a first decimator circuit. The first blur filter circuit generates a first pyramid image for a first scale of the first octave by applying a first amount of smoothing to the first image data stored in the first image buffer. The first spatial filter circuit and the first decimator generate second image data of a second octave that is higher than the first octave by applying a smoothing and a decimation to the first image data stored in the first image buffer. The first spatial filter circuit begins processing the first image data before the first blur filter circuit begins to process the first image data.

  • Patent number: 11486836
Abstract: A non-transitory computer readable medium on which is stored machine-readable instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the processor to determine the location in 3D space of an object of interest within the interior region of an opaque container. Hence, a user or operator is allowed to construct a three-dimensional representation of the interior region of the opaque container so as to allow viewing of objects, components and substances within the interior region. The users or operators now have the opportunity to isolate a particular object of interest within the interior region that may be a threat, such as an explosive device or other energetic component. A disrupter device is aimed at the three-dimensional location and thereafter, the disrupter device fires a projectile or substance at the object of interest in order to disable or destroy the object of interest.
