Abstract: A card carrier includes a presentation substrate, a pocket layer connected to an interior side of the presentation substrate, and a notification carrier configured to fit within a receiving pocket. The presentation substrate defines a presentation address window. The receiving pocket is defined by the pocket layer and the presentation substrate. The pocket layer defines an interior display window configured for displaying card object data and is connected to the presentation substrate such that the interior display window is positioned in a top half of the presentation substrate. When the notification carrier is positioned within the receiving pocket, an address on the notification carrier is visible through the presentation address window.

Abstract: A blank for forming a tamper evident container includes a plurality of panels connected together at fold lines configured for extending at least partially around an interior space, including a first side panel, a top panel, a second side panel and a bottom panel. A bottom flap is foldably connected to an edge of the bottom panel on the first end of the blank. A top flap is foldably connected to an edge of the top panel on the first end of the blank. The bottom flap includes a major flap and a minor flap, the major flap connecting between the bottom panel and the minor flap. The top flap includes a catch point feature and wherein the minor flap includes a trap aperture configured to catch the catch point feature of the top flap when opening a container constructed from the blank to provide a tamper evident access feature.

Abstract: The construction and design of new multi-laminate sheet materials for the fabrication of shipping containers, boxes, furniture, consumer items, and many other products, including those generally using panels in their design, is disclosed. These new materials are produced by employing advanced folding techniques, to yield lightweight, cost effective multi-laminates. At least one layer in the multi-laminate structure is a folded sheet tessellation which, in some embodiments, can have doubly periodic folded geometries with fold creases in multiple non-parallel directions. The various layers of the construction can interlock with each other to collectively provide mechanical stiffness, strength, energy absorption and other properties.

Abstract: A display system for containing and displaying product includes a tray portion and a hood portion. The tray portion includes a bottom panel, and the hood portion includes a top panel and at least one glue flap panel disposed adjacent to the top panel. The display system is convertible from a shipping configuration in which the tray and hood portions cooperate to form an enclosed carton, into a display configuration in which the hood portion is separated completely from the tray portion. The display system is configured to be transitioned from the shipping configuration to the display configuration by breaking an adhesive connection between the at least one glue flap panel and the tray portion and lifting the hood portion away from the tray portion.

Abstract: A shelf-ready packaging (SRP) and method for transporting and displaying food products are provided, the SRP configured to be efficient in transporting a high number of the food products while also still being able to fit on a retail store shelf. To this end, the SRP includes a cover element and a base tray including first and second tray portions connected along a single tear line. To convert the SRP from a first transport configuration to a second display configuration, the cover element is lifted off the base tray and the first and second tray portions are separated along the tear line, which thereby changes the overall length of the SRP such that it can fit on the standard retail store shelf. The SRP provides a clean, uniform appearance when in the second display configuration while providing maximum visibility and access to the food products stored therein.

Abstract: The invention provides a foldable box connection structure, a foldable box and a method of using the same. The foldable box connection structure comprises a first side plate, a second side plate, a first hinge, a first top plate, a seam cover plate and a positioning plate. The first hinge is used to connect the first top plate and the second side plate. The seam cover plate can be folded to cover the first hinge, and the seam cover plate and the positioning plate are configured to secure the first hinge. The foldable box includes the above-mentioned connection structure. In the present invention, the first top plate is hooked by the first hinge and the seam cover plate, and a second top plate is hooked by a third hinge, so that the foldable box has a fixed structure.

Abstract: A package for convenient dispensing of multiple types of solid pourable product. The package comprises a single cardboard blank having a plurality of side panels, a first compartment slide, a second compartment slide, a separator panel, and a support tab. The side panels can be formed into a box having a first compartment and a second compartment. The compartments have a common front panel with a pair of apertures for each of the compartments respectively. The apertures are sized to dispense the multiple types of solid pourable product therethrough. The slides are independently moveable to selectively block and unblock the apertures. The separator panel is between the compartments and is at least partially defined by an inner tab to one edge of the panel. The inner tab is adhesively connected to the interior of the front panel. The support tab is disposed to press the slides against the front panel.

The sidewall defines an opening for the food product to be placed into the cavity. The tray also includes a flange extending from an edge of the sidewall and around the opening. The flange has a single layer first area with a first thickness and a second area comprised of at least two layers with a second thickness. The second thickness is at least twice as thick as the first thickness. The ultrasonic bonds extend along the entire sidewall of the container to form a continuous, hermetic seal between the cover and the tray around the opening.

Abstract: A multi compartment package with slide openings for storing and dispensing two different types or flavors of solid pourable product such as candies or mints is made from a single blank having a number of panels extending lengthwise and all foldably connected. From the blank the exterior of the package is formed having a front panel and a rear panel, and the interior having two compartments. The front panel has cut outs for dispensing the pourable product, and the rear panel connects to package enclosure tabs. Each compartment has a detachably connected slide, and the slides are glued to the package enclosure tabs to seal the package. To open the package, the slides are detached and moved to expose the cut outs through which the pourable product is dispensed. Conveniently, if all the product is not immediately consumed, the slides may be closed to retain freshness.
