Abstract: A method for identifying ghost aircraft and a system for displaying information in an aircraft including a flight display onboard the aircraft and configured to display a visual expression of at least some air traffic information and an interrogation module configured to determine information about an other aircraft based on the identification address to define interrogated data, determine real-time information about the other aircraft, compare the real-time information and the interrogated data and update the flight display based on the comparison.

The method comprises forming a first elastomer layer of a large scale integration (LSI) device on a substrate according to a specified manufacturing process, the first elastomer layer having a plurality of fluid based circuits, the first elastomer layer adhering to a plurality of formation specifications. The method further comprises curing the first elastomer layer. Additionally, one or more additional elastomer layers of the LSI device are formed with the first elastomer layer according to the specified manufacturing process, the one or more additional elastomer layers having a plurality of fluid based circuits, the one or more additional elastomer layers adhering to the plurality of formation specifications.

Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein provide systems that can control the invocation of precision input mode. A system can initially utilize a first input device, such as a head-mounted display device monitoring the eye gaze direction of a user to control the location of an input target. When one or more predetermined input gestures are detected, the system can then invoke a precision mode that transitions the control of the input target from the first input device to a second input device. The second device can include another input device utilizing different input modalities, such as a sensor detecting one or more hand gestures of the user. The predetermined input gestures can include a fixation input gesture, voice commands, or other gestures that may include the use of a user's hands or head. By controlling the invocation of precision input mode using specific gestures, a system can mitigate device coordination issues.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods of operating the same are described. An apparatus including a display, an input device, and a processing device coupled to the display and the input device. The processing device may send an output to the display. The output may include a graphical object associated with a first step of a user-implemented procedure. The processing device may receive an input from the input device. The input may indicate a progress on an execution of the first step by an operator. The processing device may determine whether the input indicates that the operator has completed the first step. The processing device may determine whether the first step is a final step in the user-implemented procedure. The processing device may identify a second step in the user-implemented procedure when the input indicates that the operator has completed the first step and the first step is not a final step.

Abstract: A system determines a location of a sighting apparatus for a weapon simulator in three-dimensional space using a three-dimensional positional tracking system. Upon placement of a virtual reality (VR) head mounted display (HMD) in proximity to the sighting apparatus for the weapon simulator, the system determines a location of the VR HMD in three-dimensional space using the tracking system. The system then analyzes the relationship between the locations of the virtual trainer and the VR HMD, and upon determining that the VR HMD is properly positioned in relation to the virtual trainer, the system locks a visual feed to the VR HMD.

Abstract: Systems, devices, media, and methods are presented for composing and sharing a message based on the motion of a handheld electronic device such as a ring. The methods in some implementations include presenting a keyboard on a display, collecting course data associated with a course traveled by the ring, and overlying a trace onto the keyboard, such that the trace is correlated in near real-time with the course traveled by the ring. In some implementations the display element is part of a portable device, such as the lens of an electronic eyewear device. Based on the course data relative to the key locations on the keyboard, the system identifies and presents candidate words to be included in a message.

Abstract: A wearable glove for interacting with virtual objects is described herein. An example wearable glove includes a fabric material to be worn on a user's hand. The wearable glove also includes a matrix made of an elastic polymer, the matrix including a plurality of voids, each respective void (i) including at least one fluidic actuator and (ii) not being fluidically coupled with a positionally adjacent void. The wearable glove additionally includes a non-fluidic actuator configured to restrict movement of one of the user's digits; and one or more position sensors for monitoring positional data used to a determine a position of the wearable glove within a three-dimensional space. The wearable device can control the at least one fluidic actuator and the at least one non-fluidic actuator to simulate real-world interactions in the artificial-reality environment based on the position of the wearable device as compared to respective positions of virtual objects.

Abstract: A method includes retrieving a webpage requested by an extended reality (XR) web reader. The method further includes determining one or more content elements of the webpage and one or more menu elements of the webpage. The menu elements may comprise navigational controls for accessing additional content linked to the webpage. The method further includes mapping the one or more menu elements to one or more pre-defined menu interfaces of the XR web reader. The method further includes presenting the webpage via the XR web reader. The one or more content elements may be presented on one or more first layers of an interface of the XR web reader, and the one or more pre-defined menu interfaces may be presented on one or more second layers of the interface of the XR web reader.

For example, while playing a movie in the first portion, the social networking section may provide a chat interface in the third portion along with social network service controls to post or share user input, or to view posts from friends about the item of content.

Abstract: Wearable user interface devices are described. A wearable user interface device can include a wearable base connected to a trackable device component by a linkage. The linkage can connect to a pivoted support that the trackable device is mounted on, and which maintains poses when the user interface device is not manipulated by a user's hand. The pivoted support has several orthogonal axes intersecting at a center of rotation located inside a device body of the trackable device. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

Abstract: An integrated approach is provided to running web applications with various compatibilities that do not require third-party extensions or sacrifice user experience. When a page of an application incompatible with a first browser is to be executed, an instance of a second browser with which the page is compatible is separately invoked and/or executed without opening a window for that second browser. Instead, the second browser opens a page within the window of the first browser. Moreover, rendering and/or contextual information for a page opened via the second browser is provided to the first browser. Such information is utilized by the first browser to provide a visual experience to the user in which the web page is being hosted by the first browser, even though it is in fact being hosted by the second browser.
